Imagine how a parent must feel when they discover their child has some life threatening disease THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY HAD HAVE HAD THEIR CHILD VACCINATED.
Imagine haw the child feels toward the parent that made the wrong decision.

Forgive me if I park the metaphysics for another thread, however I am more than happy to explore the practicalities of your position.

My niece has related that the childcare centre where she works does not allow unvaccinated children to enrol, so even now there is some 'distancing' occurring.

In the past that distancing took the form of quarantining or isolation, for instance in the form of leper colonies. The difference here is that it is the decisions of the parents that are forcing the separations of those who do not have the power to make those decisions for themselves. The state surely has some role in protecting the powerless, both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.

What form of distancing would you feel would be acceptable?

One of the pieces of 'evidence' the anti crowd quote is a vaccine effort in the Philippines at the turn of the last century.

It's difficult to discuss the matter without taking into account ALL aspects, including the metaphysical.

I approve of the decision of your niece's childcare centre: they, like everyone else, have a right to request those they don't want around them to stay out of their property - and in the case of the general-public (if so they choose), out of public property. I do hope they act reasonably and not overdo it, but ultimately it's up to them.

Decisions of parents ON BEHALF OF THEIR CHILD are invaluable because they are the only mechanism that allows small children who are still unable to express themselves verbally and logically, to defend their freedom in general and their religion/spiritual-path in particular. A secular state will never be able to understand the particular needs of spiritually-evolved children.

Children expressed their wishes by choosing their parents. Of course they may change their mind later and once a child is able to speak, they should be able to walk into a police station and say: "I want state-protection, please give me other parents". So long as neither-child-nor-parent did so, the state may not attempt to protect the child.

It all depends on what you call 'life' and what you value.
For some who consider the body a temple, death is better than having one's body continue to breath after being desecrated by vaccination.

While, it seems, a majority in Australia believes that the preservation of the human biological-process for as long as technically possible is the be-all and end-all of life, you may not take it for granted that this is the only view.

I do concede that those who consider biological existence as an end for itself, as well as the avoidance of physical pain and disability, who do not consider their body a temple, who desecrate it anyway in so many other ways and with dozens of other toxins, may just as well get vaccinated rather than listen to shonky pseudo-scientists like Wakefield.
