I'm with you on this on Steelie. Any parent who fails to Vaccinate their child & the child dies should be charged with murder.

With any thing there will be deaths. The Car, plane, iphones & vaccinations have all resulted in someone dying. But in the case of Vaccinations having one child die for having it or having 100's of thousands die from not having it. The choice is a no-brainer.

Yet isn't being part of a movement that will result in harm to others through the reduction in the effectiveness of the herd immunity is doing just that.

What do you mean by 'belong'? Are one's children a mere possession allowing a parent to do what they want with them? I am all for keeping a tight rein on attempts by the state to over-reach but recognising that the state has a roll in protecting all citizens, regardless of age, is imperative of a civilised society. I don't understand your argument regarding using it as a form of population control. Are you saying that natural attrition by infection is a good way to control it?

I have never supported continued population increase and have posted comments to this effect on these pages in the past. We are living in a severely over populated world, but I don't endorse letting living people die if they can be preserved through vaccination. I also don't quite see "how the handful of greedy are keeping resources to themselves" relates to trying to vaccinate all the people who require it. You display a very illogical argument.
