Dear Josephus,
Give it a rest. Posted by Foxy, Friday, 21 August 2020 4:11:46 PM

I watched the speeches from Former Presidents their wives and candidates at the Democratic Party Convention and the whole presentations were hatred of Trump. No substance of Policy.
For the record sleazy Bill Clinton was a close friend of Epstein: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8639501/amp/Bill-Clinton-smiles-receiving-neck-massage-Jeffrey-Epstein-victim.html?__twitter_impression=true Clinton's team said he had only taken four trips with Epstein on the Lolita Express in 2002 and 2003. But flight logs showed he had taken a total of at least 26 individual flights in the course of those years. Epstein's silver and black Boeing 727 airliner - dubbed the 'Lolita Express' - carried prominent passengers including President Bill Clinton and British royal Prince Andrew. Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama were close friends of Harvey Weinstein. http://lawandcrime.com/awkward/5-times-liberals-embarrassed-themselves-by-associating-with-harvey-weinstein/ “I want to start by thanking Harvey Weinstein for organizing this amazing day,” then-first lady said Michelle Obama at an awards ceremony organized by Weinstein in 2013. “Harvey. This is possible because of Harvey. He is a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse. And the fact that he and his team took the time to make this happen for all of you should say something not about me or about this place, but about you.” 4. Really, the Whole Party Looked Up to the Rapist Because He Gave Them Cash Weinstein began donating to the Democratic Party in the late 1990s—starting with then-homestate senator Barbara Boxer. The spending quickly picked up from there. He worked for Bill Clinton’s reelection, and supported him through the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Then he gave to Al Gore—later loudly promoted a group called “Mothers Opposing Bush.” Weinstein placed his money back on the Clintons in 2008–but when that pony was fatigued by Barack Obama, he get on the winning team. And that’s when his largesse really started being noticed. The Obama era made Weinstein a political force to be reckoned with as far as donors are concerned. Up to the point of his #MeToo downfall, the onetime Miramax executive had lavished in excess of $750,000 on various Democratic Party politicians—and even more on Democratic Party-adjacent causes. Dear Josephus and runner,
You both are demeaning yourselves by your recent posts. A rather pathetic attempt at grabbing at straws. This is not about the political parties of the United States or their donors, or their supporters. Or whom people associate with. This is about the best person for the job of running the country and Trump's record is dismal. Bringing up Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, and others, is a deflection. Trump's connection to Epstein - to the parties at Trump's Mar-A-Lago home, to Trump's relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell (the accused Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice who solicited under age girls) is on record. As are the many women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct. Raising scandals - and how political parties got so corrupt - Especially when you've got the Republican Speaker of the house - Larry Householder arrested for a $60 million dollar scandal is a case of Who's not corrupt in the Republican Party? And take a look at how many of Trump's team and associates have already been arrested and there's more arrests still pending. What about Trump's tax returns? Don't hold your breath! Please guys - give it a rest. The comparison's between the men and their parties is pathetic. As is your support for this con-man. Posted by Foxy, Friday, 21 August 2020 6:48:26 PM

Agree Foxy and Joe, I don't hate Trump, in fact I don't hate anyone, hate/anger is such a negative emotion. Buddha taught that anger is the forerunner of the other negative emotions of rage, vindictiveness and jealousy.

I don't hate Trump either. And I agree with what you've
written. The man is not fit for office.
However, if I was to be completely honest I would have
to admit that I can't rule out the fact that this fraudster
could win the next election. Because the American
presidential elections are decided on a state-by-state
basis, not by the popular vote. As an article in "Newsweek"
pointed out - even if Trump loses California by many
millions of votes - it does not matter. As he'd never
have won that state anyway.
The key swing states will decide this contest and the
president is in play in all of them. National polls should
not be trusted - as we've seen from our own experience.
Biden's choice of Kamala Harris as his running mate is
sound - but she is a California Democrat. Will she have
much to offer those who live in the Mid-Western states?
and who are mostly concerned about jobs? Not sure.
Also her Green credentials may play well on the West Coast
not sure about the Rust Belt.
Therefore we can speak all we like about the current con
man in the White House - but what we should also bear
in mind is - the very real possibility of him
winning the election come November.
That's why I am hoping for a miracle.
And crossing my fingers.
