Dear Bazz,

Pretty typical mate. You chose to hold in higher regard some bloke who printed a study in some obscure journal compared to thousands of highly trained climate scientists. That is the very definition of blinkered.

Now why on earth are you still struggling with CO2 being a greenhouse gas? It is the second most significant of all the gases, right after water vapour.

How do you manage to decide that increasing its concentration in the atmosphere by a third has no effect? The only way that could happen is by a miracle but I was pretty sure you weren't a God botherer. Whichever way you slice it it is still a leap of faith.

The 12 plus arsonists the police are looking for have been responsible for releasing more CO2 into the atmosphere in the last few weeks more than has been released in all the burnt coal in Australia than a year.

Trees are carbon banks and when they burn the carbon is released into the atmosphere. Fortunately we have not had fires here, and the temperatures here have not reached above 25C. The ocean temperatures
Average November sea temperatures here locally
Max: 21.6°C / 70.8°F Maximum
Avg: 20.1°C / 68.2°F Average
Min: 18.7°C / 65.6°F Minimum

Sea temperatures here today 18.3C. this is 0.5C below minimum for November. This will mean less CO2 and water vapour released from the ocean into the atmosphere.

There is a rumour going 'round that DiNastily of the Greens is going to advise people not to build houses among the gumtrees.

I wonder if there is any truth in it?

"Do, please, get Grammarly". you like to give orders don't you Issy, private second class, don't think they had a third class for you. Probably got that from ordering around the Gooks, while sitting in your fox hole, you did label the locals with the insulting term Gooks in Korea, did you not, all while you were supposedly delivering freedom and democracy, along with chocie bars. If I don't do what you say, do I risk being shot by a crazed Shooter and Hooter? Not that I would ever take your advice anyway. BTW, Have you read that book which proves Australian soldiers threw bombs at children, during the Korean War?

Paul,

Only trying to help, Grammarly is free.

You are still pushing your lie that Australian soldiers threw bombs at children in Korea.

Why not have the guts to admit that you made a mistake?

A brilliant piece of scientific discussion by Paul as usual, typical greenie abuse.

I know it's a waste of time talking to SR, but one last time, & it may help others understand.

CO2 has a limited range of radiation it is capable of absorbing, it is long wave length radiation, & not many wave lengths.

There is already enough CO2 in the atmosphere to absorb all the outgoing radiation CO2 is capable of absorbing 3 times over. Any increase of CO2 has no radiation to absorb.

Any reabsorbation of radiation by more CO2 will simply increase convection, & MAY speed cooling. There have been quite a few papers suggesting CO2 is a cooling agent, not a heating one.
