"There are no bushfires just as there is no climate change".

There are bushfires. Climate change is real. They are just not connected.

As for the rest of the rant ... well something is bound to happen to a mind disconnected from reality for so long.

Dear Is Mise,

I was talking about her response which Josephus referred to as angry and venting when it was no such thing. Any thing else is superfluous to the discussion one would have thought.

Dear Loudmouth,

That is not the case here in Victoria where a 5% mandated target is in place to burn off each year.

But yes constant cuts to environmental services is pretty much the norm across the country and NSW is not likely to be any different, particularly under a Liberal government.

Steele,

5 % ?! So a sort of twenty-year cycle, that's the theory ? Sounds a bit too long .....

runner and ttbn,

Trying to keep up with your comments of -
"the rot you write" and
"minds disconnected from reality for so long."
Here is my response to you both.

What about the beliefs that:

"There's an invisible man living in the sky
who watches everything you do, every minute of
every day. And the invisible man has a special
list of ten things he does not want you to do.
And if you do any of these ten things he has a
special place, full of fire and smoke and burning
and torture and anguish, where he will send you to
live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and
cry forever and ever 'till the end of time."

(George Carlin).

Come on boys, now it's your turn to bat.
See if you can hit the ball.

and what if Foxy, mankind (including you and me) were full of sin and seperated from a Holy God. What if in His mercy He sent His Son to pay the price for yours and mine vile sin. And what if He offered eternal life and yet all some can do is claim they have no need of forgiveness. People can shake there puny puny fists as long as they like but they will be without excuse.

Strange how obsessed so many are with mocking or denying the One they claim not to believe in. Strange how their hatred is directed against this 'invisible man in the sky'. You would think they would have better things to do in life.
