The trouble with politicians, individual, is that they are a 'class': all connected. Very few of them come from outside - that is, had a job in the private sector, with all the experiences real life entails. The few who have had 'proper' jobs are usually lawyers. The political class is as close to being incestuous as you can be without the actual sex, although that's not always absent. I reckon the same sort will be involved in the loss of democracy at the end of the century.

Nothing like reading the Old Farts as they cry in their beer....the pain of it all, nothing another schooner down at gods waiting room won't fix.

Why do you call other people old farts when you are one yourself. You must be at least 70 now. And as for beer, you are the piss artist. I don't drink beer or any alcohol at all. Boozers find it hard to believe that some people don't touch alcohol. Perhaps it's the beer that got you mixed up with the Greens. You'd need to be blotto to vote Green, let alone join up.

Why all the name calling? Just stay on topic and end the nonsense. For Foxy to think it's all part of some sort of wonderful game, well it's not. Some people are getting tired of others going off topic and way off track.

ttbn, at times the grandkids will refer to me as an Old Fart, particularly my 16 year old g'daughter who is a very progressive thinker, I take no offense, it relates to a person's way of thinking, and not their age. As for, "crying in ones beer", nothing to do with drinking alcy, but one who laments what should have been, a person living in the past, feeling sorry for themselves. We are all "retro" to some extent.
