Don't know what you are on about shonky. I haven't bought as much as a lottery ticket in 20 years, leave the lotto to the wife. I didn't have a great interest in the result of the last election.

If I was a bookie I'd bet;

The Coalition $1.90
Labor $2.00
Any other party or group $101.00
No result $16.00 (none can form gov)

Paul,
If we ever become a republic I suggest that the President be a successful bookmaker!!

I watched Anthony Albanese being interviewed on
"The Insiders," on Sunday morning. He certainly
has a new image. New haircut. Smart looking suit.
He seems to have lost weight - and he's even quite
articulate. Impressive all round. Whoever is advising
him is doing a bang-up job! He's actually looking like
quite a handsome man, and leadership material. Very
presentable. Also - he answered all the questions
very well - he did not waffle on.

My husband tells me that the Labor is also currently
leading in the polls. It's going to be an interesting
time in the months ahead. I think we'll all benefit from
it - as the race begins.

Even though you can't trust polls, Labor must be more than happy with the latest Newpoll, having them leading the Coalition 56/44 two party preferred.

Not surprising given ScumO and his mob have stuffed everything from Covid, hundreds dying, to the economy, a trillion dollar debt and nothing to show for it.
Australians can't forget it was Morrison and that jerk in NSW who were demanding Australia open up when through their negligence hundreds more Australians have died from Scotty virus.

I'll repeat what I wrote on another discussion -
regarding Scott Morrison? It's too early to tell.
He's an unfinished story. The COVD-19 pandemic has
ensured his incumbency will be a significant one,
either for good or bad.

I was reading recently a list of the top-ranking
Australian Prime Ministers according to experts.
My list is only a small one in comparison.

Sir Robert Menzies.
Bob Hawke.
Julia Gillard.
Malcolm Turnbull.

Hi Foxy,

Obviously those EXPERTS are not familiar with:

ALFRED DEAKIN
BILLY HUGHES
JOHN CURTAIN
FRED ZIFFEL
