Hi Foxy,

I stand corrected:

http://howardleague.org/prisons/belmarsh/

Belmarsh is a Category A prison, high-security. Remand centres are Category B prisons.

Sorry :(

WIKILEAKs THREATENING TO EMBARRASS TRUMP UNLESS ASSANGE IS PARDONED

Interesting, in http://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-09-19/assange-lawyer-claims-trump-offered-us-pardon/12680462, ASSANGE's lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, has decided to bring up a 2017 event NOW.

1. I would say the Wikileaks is NOW signalling Trump that it can again provide dirt on the Democrats. This time to help Trump's 2020 Campaign.

and

2. In return Wikileaks is asking Trump to pardon Assange while Trump has the power to do so AND while the extradition proceedings are still going on.

If Biden wins Biden may ask Wikileaks/Assange to reveal the whole story about Russia-Wikileaks-Trump Muckraking Against The Democrats. If so there is the risk some Trump men may stand trial and even Trump eventually.

More facts and issues about Assange's continuing UK gaol stay are at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Assange

Hi Pete,

Good heavens ! Are you suggesting that Trumpf could put pressure on the British, perhaps through Barr, his A-G and loyal lapdog, to drop the charges against Assange [in return for Wikileak's discretion and warm cooperation ] ?

45 days to go [our time] ! He might have to hurry. In that time, he has to:

* bulldoze the appointment of a suitably reactionary lickspittle lawyer to the Supreme Court (and probably a woman, and Jewish at that); and also

* push through prohibitions on postal voting during Covid-19, like he's already done himself; and also somehow foul up the in-person voting process in Democratic-prone areas (fewer voting places, fewer voting-machines, fewer working voting-machines, 6-8-hour-waiting times on a Tuesday afternoon in early Winter); and

*. somehow destroy Fauci and Redfield, and force through the rules of

(1) 'no-testing, therefore no-super-spreaders', and

(2) 'other illness, not Covid, so not counted in total Trumpf deaths'.

and otherwise neuter the CDC.

200,000 Covid deaths thanks to Trumpf by the end of today. About 26,000 deaths each month, and not dropping.

45 days more ! God, how they drag !

Hi Joe

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Assange#Arrest_in_the_embassy indicates:

"Assange was remanded to HM Prison Belmarsh, and on 1 May 2019 he was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court to 50 weeks imprisonment.[19]

The judge said he would be released after serving HALF OF HIS SENTENCE subject to other proceedings and conditioned upon committing no further offences."

Trump could order the extradition to the US request be cancelled.

The way I read it extradition is the main proceeding that would keep Assange from being freed after "HALF OF HIS SENTENCE" ie. 1 May + 25 weeks.

That could mean if Trump drops the US extradition request (and there are no other other proceedings or further offences keeping Assange in goal) then Assange may be a free man by early October 2020.

But freeing Assange before 3 November may not be good for Trump's campaign - so freedom might be after 3 November.

If an innocent man like Assange was before a show trial in Beijing instead of London the 'Usual Suspects' would be jumping up and down by now. American "justice" must be served, and who better to serve it than the sycophantic Poms. The other sycophant, Australia keeps mute while one of its citizen is being tried before a kangaroo court in England with the objective of the firing squad in America for an innocent man. ScumO' should be ashamed of himself for not speaking out about this travesty of justice.

No wonder LM is so all-in with Biden....they have the same reverence for the facts:

http://youtu.be/8XwgixmCU34

Biden: 200 million USians have died of WuFlu
LM: Sounds about right.

" Russia-Wikileaks-Trump Muckraking"

Not that the facts matter to you bozos but:
1.There's no evidence Russian hacked the DNC server.
2.Russia denies giving any emails to Wikileaks and Wikileaks says they got the hacked emails from people other than Russians. Ever heard of Seth Rich?
3. There's zero evidence that Trump had any knowledge or involvement in the leaks of the emails. None other than an email that was later debunked. Although the usual suspects fell for the false story in the same way they fall for all false stories.

Do you realise the leaked emails showed that Hillary lied to the American people and to the families of people who'd died because of her negligence? Does that matter?

"Thanks MHaze for your coherent logic."

Thanks Canem but as you can see these people aren't interested in coherent logic or any other sort of logic for that matter. Indeed I suspect LM had to duck off to dictionary.com to look up what 'logic' means.
