Dear Josephus,

I have long made it clear on this forum that I do
not support extremists of any colour or religion.
The same unfortunately apparently can't be said
for yourself. And that is something between you
and your God.

Jose', do agree with Trump that American war dead are nothing more than "losers and suckers", and The Donald's hair is more important than attending commemorative services on a bad day? Then Trump don't want to be seen with veterans who are amputees, they revolt him, and they are a bad look for your cool looking dude. Pray tell didn't Trump avoid military service through "medical grounds". Well, well well what a.... OLO don't allow me to say.

Lots of news reports about Trumps disgust with these losers and suckers. What do you have to say?

Paul,

Do you agree with Adam Bandt that the NSW greens are liars and bludgers and should be hanged from lamp posts?

That sounds more like today's America not Australia.

In America they should let the people pick the
President. They need to abolish the Electoral
College. It is hard to imagine a political
institution less suited to a 21st century liberal
democracy than the Electoral College.

Foxy,

The electoral college system while having its idiosyncrasies is still far more representative than our senate in which Tasmania gets as many senators as NSW with roughly 1/10th of the population.

Each state has the number of electors proportional to its population, and while it is possible to have someone win with few actual votes it is not that common, and if so it can go either way and the difference is usually small.
