mhaze,

You think you are correct.
I think you are not correct.
I don't believe in any further discussion
with a person who totally disrespects me.
Life is too short. As for your questions being
uncomfortable? Nah. merely drivel. For them to
make me uncomfortable - I would have to respect
your opinion.

Now back to the topic.

Dear Saltpetre,

I would like to see America return to its traditional
values. To traditional statesmanship and leadership.
Joe Biden strikes me as a man with fundamental decency.
A man with experience in office - who's now running
for the top job.

Trump on the other hand is a candidate who you don't know
what he stands for. He switches positions so quickly. He
does not listen to anybody. Personally he is dangerous.
Someone on the web described him as - "Plutonium".
You don't know if it will heat your home or blow up your
town.

An incompetent man who should never have been elected to
office in the first place.

I agree with you - that by some miracle - all we can hope
for is that Americans will finally see through this man
and hurl him out.

Fingers-crossed.

Dear Saltpetre,

I've come across an article in "The Atlantic",
March 13, 2020, by Peter Wehner who tells us that:

"It is taking longer than it should have but
hopefully Americans will finally see the con man
behind the curtain."

Wehner tell us that "Trump is fundamentally UNFIT -
intellectually, morally, temperamentally, and
psychologically for office."

"For me this is the paramount consideration in electing
a president, in part because at some point it's
reasonable to expect that a president will face an unexpected
crisis - and at that point the president's judgement and
discernment, his character and leadership ability will
really matter."

"Trump has no desire whatsoever to acquaint himself with
most issues, let alone master them. No major presidential
candidate has ever been quite as disdainful of knowledge, as
indifferent to facts, as untroubled by his benightedness."

"Trump's virulent combination of ignorance, emotional
instability, demagogy, solipsism, and vindictiveness would
do more than result in a failed presidency. It could well
lead to a national catastrophe."

"The prospect of Donald Trump as commander in chief should
send a chill down the spine of every American".

Foxy it is obvious you hate Trump based on Media reports by Democrat supporters character assassinations.

I dislike the Biden / Harris team based on their policy of funding abortion which is focused on African American genocide. While in the Senate, he voted on to ban certain late-term abortion procedure as recently as 2003. He will abandoning the gas and oil industry, proposed taking American agriculture to net-zero emissions by “dramatically” expanding a voluntary USDA conservation program that pays farmers, under five-year contracts, to adopt certain practices — though he didn’t specify how much this would cost or set a target date. He also said the program should be part of new carbon markets by allowing corporations, individuals and foundations to contribute funding to offset their emissions. Eliminate past convictions for marijuana crimes.

They stand by the Antifa violence as they believe is supports their socialist cause to unseat Trump. His record of racial segreation of African Americans.

Dear Josephus,

Attitudes towards Trump appear to be chiefly driven
by his personality not by policy or ideology. He's
a man who as explained earlier does not listen to
anybody. I find that personally dangerous in a world
leader and as I stated he's like - plutonium. You
don't know if it will eat your home or blow up your
town.

Anyone but Trump - is my catch cry.
And no - I don't hate the man. It's just
that the prospect of him
being re-elected as commander in chief of the US does
send a chill down my spine.

Excellent speech from Michelle Obama delivered online during the Democrat Convention. She slammed Trump as President, saying he's in over his head.

Joe Biden is being lobbied to support the Green New Deal, which is based on the premise White People have caused destruction to the Planet and exploited Black people. The Marxist Sunrise Movement starts by educating young children to be radical and riot and burn down White Businesses. Currently they are entering white neighbourhoods demanding their houses or they will burn them down. Which they have done, with residents inside!

When Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rolled out her “Green New Deal,” many thought she was the brainchild behind the plan to fundamentally reorient our country away from capitalism and towards socialism.

And while Ocasio-Cortez has been integral to promoting this dangerous brand of environmental-socialism, there’s a potentially more sinister group working behind the scenes – the “Sunrise Movement.”

They call themselves an “army” that is at “war” fighting in the name of extreme environmentalism. They say the United States has become a “rogue nation” by promoting its energy industry. And they’re making the “Green New Deal” and its socialist takeover of America their signature issue.

The “Sunrise Movement” gained notoriety for occupying Nancy Pelosi’s office soon after the 2018 midterms to push for radical climate action, joining forces with Ocasio-Cortez. Senator Ed Markey, the lead Senate sponsor of the “Green New Deal,” even invited a Sunrise Movement troop as his guest to the State of the Union.

In his latest effort to court left-wing voters, Joe Biden announced that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will be co-chairwoman of his campaign task force on climate change.
