Paul1405,

Comrade Twiggy! No, never! He is better than that I tell you! How dare you insult him by making him look so low as to be a Comrade. No, No, No! Commissar Twiggy is what he should be: a leader of men I tell you! No mere Comrade for twiggy - he is definitely Commissar material.

Andrew Forrest employs about 5500 people. How many can depend on our resident do-gooders on OLO for their income ?
The Indigenous near our town receive (so rumour has it) Mining Royalties to top up their Welfare.
I don't know how much or how little truth is in that but all I can say is I wish I could afford 4x4's & boats as they do & not have to move a finger !

I don't know what the fuss is about, of course the Chinese will threaten
us with cutting off any trade we might want to progress.
We after all are a vassal country to the Central Kingdom and the natural
process is to just do as we are told and supply whatever they need.
If we want to buy something from them they may agree to supply at their price.
As far as military matters are concerned we should not make any sign of
supporting other vassal states such as the USA.
Sending our ships in company with other vassal state ships uninvited is
to invite significant trouble.

With left loonies like that foolish privileged woman in Victoria writing her spew during work hours one wonders what value education has. The kids are far better off not going to school if she is representative of what a 'successful' modern day career woman is.

Hey runner,

Donald Trump introduced a new twelve-inch doll of
himself that speaks seventeen different phrases,
which is amazing, as that's five more than the real
Donald Trump.

Bazz,

I accept your cynicism of the extent to which Australia has allowed itself to be subdued by China over the past 30 years. Unfortunately it has taken something like the Wuhan virus to make us wake up to the fact that China's aim has always been to control Australian politics, economy, and society. Hopefully it's not too late to reverse the trend and turn back the clock.

But what to do with Chinese ex-pats like Gladys Liu, Andrew Forrest, and Kerry Stokes, just to name a few?
