Good Morning Paul,

Some of us don't realise how lucky we are.

I think you're right about my friends son.
I vaguely remember his illness being connected
to diabetes.

time to suspend pay for all Government workers and Pollies. Give them 1500 per fortnight and see how fast they get the country back to work.

An interesting question was raised on The Insiders this morning: Why is it alright for the children to be crowded together into classrooms but when outside of school the same children must comply with social distancing requirements? It is a contradiction.

Also sending kids back into the schools en masse really only applies to the public school sector. Apparently private schools are not resuming for about 12 weeks and are continuing with distance education. There is more to this than meets the eye. Can anyone figure it out?

Something no one has raised yet on The Forum is the app Soot & The Boys are pushing. Everyone is saying that the pros and cons are all to do with privacy concerns. I think there is more than meets the eyes on this one as well. Can anyone figure it out?

The clue to my questions is that Mr Opinion thinks that Soot 'Beam up me Scotty' Morrison is the most cunning Australian politician he as ever seen.

They don't like losing that free childcare. Home 'schooling' is a crock: modern kids don't have the self-discipline for it, and parents are mostly not teachers, if they are even at home, unprepared as they are to actually care for and raise their own offspring instead of being out 'fullfilling' themselves, earning less than they are paying out for the babies they have dumped on strangers, and really hating being mothers and homemakers - all the natural things. We might very well see a rise in abortions after this little lesson on what it really means to be a mother.

That same teachers union fight tooth & nail against home schooling. The last thing they want is too many kids pulled out of their indoctrination, or diminishing the employment for them. They are k of being embarrassed when home schooled kids display better education than their charges.

I don't mind if they don't want to go back to work, & pull their weight in this situation. If they are frightened & want out that's fine, but expecting to be paid, or offered continuing employment at some time that suits them is not fine.

Go to work or resign, that is the choice, & should be enforced.

Teachers over the past 30 years have done more damage to kids than all the bad programming on TV.
Teachers have passed-on their mentality of me, me, me to some very good kids who then ended up so spoiled that even their parents couldn't figure them out anymore. Now, these victims of Teachers are a burden on their parents. thirty years old & still sponging off Mum & Dad !
The majority of Teachers are preoccupied with planning their overseas holidays. Dedicated I hear SteeleRedux say ? Better check online Dictionaries re the definition of 'dedicated' !
Not so, I hear you cry ? Well, prove it ain't so !
