Well it is time to give the teachers a couple of choices.
1/ Go to work when directed, or,
2/ Be dismissed with out any redundancy.
I don't know who the hell they think they are, but it is not their prerogative to chose if they will work or not. They have the right of course to resign if they think they are too important to do their share in the current difficulty, but they have no right to refuse offered employment, & expect to continue to receive pay for what they are not doing.
There are hundreds of thousands who would love the chance to be working, & getting paid, & with the continual falling standards of our kids education, most of them would have little difficulty doing at least as good a job as all too many teachers.
Yes time to tell teachers, go to work when told, or get the hell out.
