I think it's because when you mentioned the Meuller Report what your are kind of naively referring to is the 'official story'.
From how I understand it, it is a kind of a 'fake news' in that it's not what the Meuller report found, but what it left out.
One you see all the parts it left out, all the finer details only then do you start to see a different story.
So this 'official story' (Meuller Report) is a little bit different to the 'back story', or maybe better described as 'actual story'.

He campaigned on stopping wars but US foreign policy hasn't changed, and Trumps maybe even worse than anyone else.
He just openly says he's going to illegally occupy another country and take their stuff.
Case in point 'Syrian oil', regime change in Boliva (for lithium), ongoing regime change in Venezeula (for oil)
... Sanctions on Iran (you can't sell yours)
... Blocking oil for Syria (you can't have any, or your own)
It goes on and on.
Name one country the US has 'successfully' brought 'democracy' to.
Go on try name just one.
Name one country where the US came in, made things better for the people who were all now happy and the US then left.
Name just one.

It's not about 'democracy', it's about pilliging other nations resources and all the corrupt members of congress are compromised or have a conflict of interest because they're all profiting off the proceeds of war.
Trump hasn't been able to stop this.
