The mainstream media has been uncovered as largely fraudulent and I doubt will ever get the confidence of any thinking person. This system needs to be reformed.

Dear Foxy,

You do not fully understand the reasoning behind the structure of the American political system. Is there any real difference between the US Congress electing the head of state and Australian MPs electing the head of government?

I like the Washington system and would like to see Australia dump the Westminster system for the American model. America has a fully democratic system that has all the checks and balances in place to prevent any one person from putting himself or herself above the national interest. It's the system of checks and balances that will be the downfall of Trump.
