What a load of rubbish! This irresponsible nincompoop rode a horse at at a fast gallop into a yard occupied by a number of old people and children, alone with others. Such reckless behaviour seen one person seriously injured. Fortunately this pathetic behaviour did not lead to serious injury, or worse, to a child or some other innocent persons. Glad to say the boofheaded clown Clinton McDonald has been
charged. "McDonald was charged with "dangerous operation of a vehicle [namely a horse] causing grievous bodily harm", common assault, trespass and obstructing police." "He cried in the dock when he appeared in the Mackay Magistrates Court today". What a big tough wozzy, a yahoo who runs down a poor defenceless elderly lady, but cries in court! You are the law and order brigade, what do you suggest for this fool? Two years with hard labour. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-04-29/horse-rider-charged-after-anti-adani-protester-injured/11052594 Posted by Paul1405, Monday, 29 April 2019 9:01:44 PM

The video seems to indicate that some people moved towards the horse rider; and the footage does not show any contact between human and beast.

All you bleeding hearts are wasting everybody's time trying to lay blame on the 'idiot' on the horse.
The act was as a result of the stupid maggot attempting to control the horse by trying to shut the gate on it, egged on by the other stupid morons to 'shut the gate, quick, shut the gate'. You can hear the gate being hit by the horse, it was no different than someone jumping out in front of a moving vehicle, stupid. In fact it is much worse. In a car the driver is in control, with a horse the rider only has tacit control. The horse has the final word or say. So Paul, shut it, you can spin it any way you want, but I and others with a full brain can see it for what it is. Had she left the gate or just let the idiot do his little 'show', nothing would have happened, but no, they wanted to get attention for their cause? well they got it. I would be upset too if someone jumped in front of me, whilst I was either riding a horse or driving a car. So no points to the old girl, she just caused herself and the horseman a lot of grief and pain for no good reason. As for the guy on the horse getting charged, I think someone is jumping ahead of themselves to try to throw GBH in the mix. BH at best, for it to be GBH, the injury/s would have to be life threatening, so that if not attended to by a medical professional, the person 'will' die. Remember, either she or one of the others are the guilty parties, they 'loaded the gun and aimed it', the horse was set up to pull the trigger, without his knowledge or consent. So this little farce can go down on the record as 'self inflicted injury caused by mis-adventure', end of. Even a judge with half a brain, or a modicum of common sense and reason, will see there is no case to answer to. Posted by ALTRAV, Tuesday, 30 April 2019 12:06:07 AM

Applying your perverted logic, the next time another nutter mows down pedestrians on a footpath with a car, we'll blame the pedestrians for failing to get out of the road. Amazing!
Fortune would have it that the neo-communist Queensland Police arrested the "innocent" would be postilion, and rightly threw the book at the fool. Good work Queensland Police. Posted by Paul1405, Tuesday, 30 April 2019 7:18:29 AM

"I'm sorry if I've employed language apropos Dr. Robert (Bob) BROWN that upsets the two of you".
Just a small point, mate, 'Robert' is usually reserved for Robert Brown of the SF&F Party and 'Bob' for Bob Brown of the Greens, neither of whom wish to be confused with the other, and certainly not Robert Brown's wife and children.
