Foxy, you do realise that out of 25 million or so people out there, it's pretty good odds that more than you can imagine will vehemently and aggressively dis-agree with that fantasy you have referenced.

There's a lot of ideas I could add for this topic, but it'd be a long post.
A couple of words that stuck out at me in your post: 'Gender Roles'

If I stepped back and made an observation I'd say that in regards to this whole PC social experiment, that: 'Gender Roles have reversed'
(Or someone wishes to make it so).

Men are being made into low testosterone soy-sipping effeminate little girls that do not lead.
Whilst Girls are being empowered to become fighters and leaders in the role of traditional men.

Is that or is that not an attempt to reverse gender roles?

I don't like any of this because I think it's an attempt to socially engineer or manipulate society to look at issues emotionally rather than logically.

As far as relationships go, there's plenty I could say on the topic I'd just like to make sure kids are prepared for relationships and how to best handle the situations that will inevitably arise.
If that's the curriculum then fine, but if they step off that reservation and I want to know how and why.

I did not see reference to any text book to be used which brings in concerns about exactly who will be teaching this.

Imagine the consequences if the teacher is gay, transgender or worse a pedophile, the thought of one of them teaching impressionable children is absolutely crazy.

Late last year our second oldest granddaughter, without any provocation had a year 7 boy, she had never spoken to ever, call her a "curry muncher" Tazi came back with "shut up I don't even like curry!". Well, the next day the same boy comes up to her out of the blue an said something like "Why don't you get back on the boat and get back where you came from you curry muncher etc etc." With that Tazi slapped his face, and he went running off and reported her to a teacher. After getting the facts, the up shot was Tazi got a 5 minute detention for violent behaviour and a phone call to her mother from the class teacher, the boys parents were notified that he (again) needed to be counseled about his racists attitudes. Any other child he sees as "coffee coloured" is called names like "curry muncher" and told to get back on the boat, and get back to where they came from.

p/s Our granddaughter was born in Sydney Children's Hospital to Australia citizens of Maori/Cook Islander descent in 2006. She is very "outdoors", a beautiful brown skin girl, who does't like curry, loves sushi, so she better get back to Japan. I said to her why did he pick on you? We took our grandchildren on Friday afternoon to
see the film - "How to train your dragon..."
we all enjoyed it very much. However on our way
home our car engine went dead in the middle of a
very busy turning lane.

We had to call the RACV
and get a tow-truck to get the car home. The kids
and I caught a taxi. I was surprised to see that
the guy with the tow-truck was from the Middle East,
the taxi-driver was from India, the car-battery guy
was from Pakistan, the other RACV guy
who fixed the car, got it started, was from India. And
I couldn't help but wonder - where were the Anglos?
Our Indian taxi driver told me - "They don't like
working during the holidays."

There you are.

I'm glad that all of these "curry munchers," had not
gone back to where they came from. We'd have been
stuck at that inter-section for a very long time
in 46 degree heat. Thanks to these guys we managed to survive.
We were very grateful that they chose to work during the
holidays.
