And here I was thinking you might be alluding to 'Boys Can Have Periods'.

As far as I'm aware the WA curriculum is still being
developed. It has not been implemented or fully explained. We should perhaps wait and see what develops before commenting. Although, I read that perhaps - we should consider banning not only the Scottish kilt, but any pictures with Jesus wearing robes in any painting from the last hundred years. And, why stop there? We should also include banning pictures of Egyptian Pharaohs, Javanese sarongs Roman togas, Japanese kimonos, the Suadi thaub, Greek ethnic dress that has skirts on their men. Pictures of Popes, Cardinals, Priests, all wearing rather feminine garb, hats, swinging "hand-bags," the list could go on. I saw a bloke the other day wearing what looked like a female nightie in the supermarket. Perhaps I should have said something to him? Or maybe he was just hung-over from New Year? He was a big blokey bloke as well. Where do we draw the line? Much better to stick with the nylon budgie-smugglers that we can all see through when wet. That's the best macho - image to pass on to our kids. Posted by Foxy, Thursday, 3 January 2019 4:34:01 PM

Armchair Critic Saw that one but it defied too much logic.

A million Dollars would help at least 20 needy families to keep going for a whole year.
It just goes to show that people with not an ounce of sense get voted in by even more insipid members of the public. Posted by individual, Thursday, 3 January 2019 5:57:24 PM

Surely this is simply preparing more young boys for the homosexuals & paedophiles.
With all this utter garbage being pushed on us by the womens libbers, homosexuals & "progressives", the thought of the coming Muslim take over is starting to look somewhat attractive. At least it would clean up the moral cesspit our cities are becoming. I often wondered how a great civilisation like the Romans could so quickly collapse. I no longer have to wonder, I can simply observe the current collapse of Western Civilisation happening before my eyes. Posted by Hasbeen, Thursday, 3 January 2019 6:09:45 PM

I do recall a number of articles over the past few months where females and males who have had the surgery say it was the worst mistake of there life.
To try and introduce the concept at an early age is asking for trouble in the future. I can just see the lawyers trying to work out how to capitalize on this. Posted by Philip S, Thursday, 3 January 2019 7:16:29 PM

yeah I saw a utube yesterday stating that the recent girls from Norway that were raped and beheaded were warned not to go camping where they did. They had been brainwashed by the leftist that all cultures were equal blah blah. The regressives are dumb enough to ask why the mental health issues among our kids have dramatically increased. Of course caused by gw or Donald Trump. One day the kids lucky enough to still have a mum and dad might just question the putried feminist/Marxist experiments.

Phil, another one of your "gems" from the Pommy scandal sheet 'The Daily Mail'. A British tabloid well known for sensationalism and exaggeration, it certainly applies that old newspaper adage "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story. It is amazing what dirt a bunch of far right jurnos sitting in London can dig up in Australia.
Just a small point, you say "Students will be provided with a range of dress ups...such as burkas, traditionally worn by women of Islamic faith" But then you say "A spokesperson from the Western Australia Department of Education wouldn't confirm or deny whether 'dressing up' will be part of the 2019 gender education program, stating the 'curriculum is still being developed." Who provided the confirmation that students will be dressing up in such garb as burkas, certainly not the spokesperson for the Western Australia Department of Education, he or she wouldn't confirm anything. So where did it come from. What has really shocked me is the proposal by Blair Cottrell who was leader of Australia's most vocal anti-Islam movement, the United Patriots Front, Cotterall has a history of supporting far-right causes, including wanting to hang a picture of Adolf Hitler in every Australian classroom. From the Sydney Morning Herald. There are those that want to go farther than Cottrell, demanding an Australian public holiday be held on the Fuhrer's birthday, 20th April, along with having the SS uniform as the standard issue in all Australian schools. It never ceases to amaze me how gullible people can be to not only accept this sort of contrived rubbish as "fact" but then use their own distorted "facts" as a basis of an argument.
The Daily Mail? It's as bad as Sharri Markson stealing articles from a Neo-Nazi website and passing them onto to Peter Dutton who re-quotes them as fact or any of the other sensationalist nonsense spouted by radio shock-jocks every day. Then again, that's how the internet works these days. It's a handy tool for those people addicted to outrage. Posted by rache, Friday, 4 January 2019 7:57:13 AM

The reference for this lunacy applies to the UK. There is no black and white reference suggesting that it will happen here, just hearsay from Alan Jones. The lunacy was “previously introduced to over a dozen Victorian schools in 2018” it is claimed, but again no evidence. “Up to 10 schools in Western Australia will take part in the $1million Respect Relationships program”. Again, who says so? And, “Simone McGurk, the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence, happily supports the program”.
Quotation marks suggest that words came from the person named, but they are not proof. I think I'll refrain from commenting on this one. Despite my contempt for Labor, and the apparent hideousness of the rumour, I would like to know more. For instance, if it is true, what is the Liberal opposition in Vic and WA doing about it (same as they did in the last elections in those two states - nothing?) How about parent organisations? School P&F committees? Are they trying to protect their kids from this social engineering? Posted by ttbn, Friday, 4 January 2019 10:11:30 AM

Good honest comment from you ttbn, I applaud you for that. We will most likely clash over something else another time, but not this time.
//Surely this is simply preparing more young boys for the homosexuals & paedophiles.// Hassy you are a little confused are you not. We are talking about State schools, not Catholic schools run by Fr Fukemup and his merry men. Since someone mentioned Catholic schools, I recall Sister Mary my teacher in the 3rd grade wore a sort of black buka, minus the face mask, although given her not so photogenic face a mask would have been a definite improvement. Maybe Sr Mary was a closet Islamist, masquerading as an Irish nun! BTW Hassy, Since 'Being Gay'was only an elective subject at school you will be please to hear there are some who think it should be made compulsory Posted by Paul1405, Friday, 4 January 2019 11:45:22 AM

I too read this headline and article in last Sunday's Sunday Times.
I informed OLO that same day. I'm reading all this too-ing and fro-ing, and that 'there is no proof this was ever said'. How stupid, ignorant or arrogant must one be to say such a thing. If it is not true, there will be a follow-up story of the paper being sued. Same goes for the minister, boy you people make it very difficult to take you seriously, stop and think before you let your emotions run away with your brain. Another little fact you neanderthals have completely missed is, the govt knows if they are going to introduce an un-popular law, they will test the waters and evade direct comments, so it can be slipped in another day when these morons are all pissed and watching some brain numbing bloody 'SPORT', such as what happened to the queers bill. Why are we being led by these useless good-for-nothing maggots and faggots, who are clearly leading us into social destruction. People, stop and take control of YOUR lives and your families lives, and if necessary, we must go beyond talking, that's what THEY want, because while we are talking about it we are not picking up arms and pounding these sick bastards into oblivion. And they know we will resort to physical violence, that's why the scum keep saying things like, 'we must have a conversation about these issues'. NO! We F@(#ING DON'T! And as for the fairy tale suggestion that we wait till we have all the facts, or till they work it all out. NO WE DON'T! Once we get a hint of something foul, we must attack it immediately so as to stop it going any further. This is exactly such a vial act, and should not be allowed to continue possibly by contacting your local member, after all they are not there to look good and ingratiate themselves at our expense. It must stop NOW! Posted by ALTRAV, Friday, 4 January 2019 10:25:39 PM

Contrary to popular belief very little legislation is introduced by Politicians. There are thousands of bureaucrats who come up with things they often first test the water to see what the general pulse is of the people, if very few people say anything it will be then the job of the Politicians to get the necessary laws passed. If a lot of people object the bureaucrats will try to introduce the laws by stealth of a bit at a time so people don't notice. Remember in the past unpopular legislation was introduced at the same time as the Royal wedding, that way it got virtually no MSM coverage. This is true in the case of the "strident extremism" raised in this post. Do something to stop the nonsense, using majority power, or go to water and do nothing. Stop complaining and ACT. But first, make sure the rumours are true. Posted by ttbn, Saturday, 5 January 2019 9:00:41 AM

I believe such manipulation of children's self image is not just a
stupid trendy fashion but it could generate a criminal charge of cruelty to children. It only needs one child to behave in an irrational manner and cause a problem of any sort and the teacher could find herself up on a serious charge. A lot of IFs there but then there are a lot of children that would be exposed to such programming techniques. I used "herself" because there are no male teachers for those ages. I think from memory the NSW Minister for Education ordered that the safe schools program not be adopted, is that correct ? Posted by Bazz, Saturday, 5 January 2019 10:56:36 AM

I thought you were serious. Based on the heading, I began to cringe, then after reading the explanation I came back down to earth again, WHEW! The mere thought of men menstruating was just too much to handle. Anyway, I'm still no wiser but I think it has something to do with the Islands and their religions. What that's got to do with periods, I don't know, but maybe if I could be bothered to follow it up, I'd know. Can I be bothered? NAH! Posted by ALTRAV, Saturday, 5 January 2019 1:34:37 PM

Just to add to the confusion the children are subjected too, what about the articles of the man getting.
http://www.science20.com/challenging_nature/a_real_pregnant_man_almost_certainly_possible_but_it_might_kill_him Oprah Winfrey introduced the so-called "first pregnant man" to viewers of her April 3rd show this past week. Thomas Beatie appeared, six months pregnant, with his wife Nancy and his obstetrician, Dr. Kimberly James (by satellite hookup). You can see the complete show here. But many viewers thought the whole thing was blown out of proportion because Thomas was born with a perfectly normal uterus. Is it really possible today? The answer, as I abstract from my 1997 book, Remaking Eden, is "almost certainly yes, but . . ." With the birth of Louise Joy Brown in 1978, Steptoe and Edwards demonstrated the feasibility of fertilizing human eggs in a petri dish and placing embryos back into women where they can gestate to term. To date, several million children have been conceived through in vitro fertilization and born from women. From the outset, scientists have mused aloud about the possibility of maintaining a pregnancy within the abdomen of a man. Tabloids routinely publish stories of success and in the popular 1995 film Junior, Arnold Schwarzenegger played a scientist who uses hormones and in vitro fertilization to make himself pregnant and ultimately "give birth." Movies and novels that mix real science with science fiction often lead to confusion in the public mind as to what is medically possible and what is not. Usually, scientists and physicians can be counted on to sort it all out. With male pregnancy, though, something funny happens: Some say it is possible while others say it isn’t. To understand how different professionals can reach such opposite conclusions, we must delve into the thought processes of ‘the scientist’ and ‘the clinician,’ respectively. Rest of article is at link above, going out don't have time to edit it. Posted by Philip S, Saturday, 5 January 2019 1:45:18 PM

ALTRAV,
The phenomenon did (does?) exist, and was undoubtedly painful for the men. Not only that but they did all their own food preparation and cooking as the female menstrual flow was considered to be magical in its properties and frightening in its potential. The Amazon book description mentions Margaret Mead.
"Ian Hogbin belongs to anthropology's heroic age. He was a member of the brilliant between-the-wars generation that included Raymond Firth, Reo Fortune, Margaret Mead, Gregory Bateson, and Hortense Powdermaker, all of whom pioneered modern field research in the insular South Pacific." I've been told that Margaret Mead's book 'Coming of Age in Samoa' has been completely disproven and all the assumptions made by her in regards to people being a product of their environment are garbage. I remember vaguely this is the foundation for which researchers started to believe that peoples behaviors could be changed if you change their environment; or something like this. Runner, I agree, even though I may lack the linguistic skills to CONvince people against such debasing and unnatural acts, I never-the-less rely on a higher sense of reason, and these types of things, like queers seeking to be seen as 'normal' in such tenuous topics as marriage, is just too much and one does not need to have a 'conversation' about such things, we have a feeling about such things, and that should suffice.
The govt MUST not get involved in social matters, nor matters of family and their emotions. Govt must maintain a pragmatic and distant view about issues to do with the families inner circle and modus operandi. This is the perfect case and in extreme. If someone wanted to blur the line between sexes a good start would be something that has already been done.
Transgender rights reforms allowing Tasmanian parents to choose whether to include their baby’s gender on a birth certificate has moved a step closer to becoming law after a Labor and Greens bill passed the state’s lower house. The changes were passed on Tuesday night by the casting vote of Liberal Speaker Sue Hickey, who voted against her party. The bill, which also allows people over 16 to change the gender on their birth certificate by filling out a statutory declaration, was welcomed by the activist group Transforming Tasmania. http://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/nov/21/tasmania-closer-to-allowing-removal-of-gender-from-birth-certificates This is from 2011 Australian passports now offer gender option 'X' for intersex people In a move the Australian government hopes will help remove discrimination against intersex or transgender people, the country's passports will now offer three options: male, female and indeterminate, the government said Thursday. "This initiative is in line with the Australian Government’s commitment to remove discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation or sex and gender identity," according to the Australian Passport Office. "The policy removes unnecessary obstacles to recording a person’s preferred gender in their passport." Those who do not identify themselves as male or female will no longer be required to check off the "M" or "F" box under gender, but instead will have the option of checking "X," according to the new passport rules. http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/09/15/australian-passports-now-offer-gender-option-x-for-intersex-people/ Posted by Philip S, Saturday, 5 January 2019 5:33:37 PM

Okay Phil, the story is baseless, there is no supporting evidence provided. It is nothing more that the rantings of some run off at the mouth jurno who works for the UK tabloid the 'Daily Mail' which was dutifully reproduced by you. There is no possibility that year three students, boys and/or girls, in WA state schools, or any other Labor state school in Australia will be forced to dress up in such garb as burka's etc, and at the same time explore different gender roles. How do I know this, because the total commitment of Labor governments in Australia is to quality education, and that has come from the mouths of Labor politicians like Bill Shorten. For Labor the three R's, reading, writing and arithmetic are of paramount impotence, nothing else matters, and under Labor there is no time for anything provocative in schools. I can see nothing but scholastic endeavours being undertaken by state school students who are fortunate enough to be under a Labor governments care. There will be no time, even if some had such desires, for what you have posted from the UK tabloid in Labor run state schools! Maybe strange thing could happen in Coalition controlled schools, but not in Labor ones!

Paul1405 You must be getting frustrated 209 words all jammed together as one big paragraph even though the subject differs.
Taking 100% as it will happen, I would give it 25% for rubbish 75%. The 25% is based on. 1) Morrison did not dismiss it outright or say he knew nothing about it but would investigate before commenting. 2) It is said "Simone McGurk, the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence, happily supports the program." If this was false or misleading why has this person not come out to say it is BS. 3) Quote "A spokesperson from the Western Australia Department of Education wouldn't confirm or deny whether 'dressing up' will be part of the 2019 gender education program, stating the 'curriculum is still being developed.'" It was not denied. _________________________________________________ Quote "The primary aim of the course, previously introduced to over a dozen Victorian schools in 2018, is to break down gender stereotypes." I have never heard of this happening, if it did one would think it definitely would get a lot of media attention, which sways to being fake. Posted by Philip S, Saturday, 5 January 2019 11:08:43 PM

Hi Phil,
The problem with tabloid journalism is the stories have to be "juicy" to suit the readers, to get the circulation. People read the tabloids primarily for the sport section, but also for a bit of titillating news and gossip. A jurno through the editor also has to comply with the papers overall (in reality the proprietors) political philosophy. In this story its obvious the jurno had very little to go on, probably no more than a government press release from the minister to the effect that 'By introducing respectful relationships in schools, we can continue to implement cultural changes in attitudes towards family and domestic violence, early interventions can be critical.' All feel good stuff, nothing controversial, not much of a story in that. But with a bit of flair a mundane story can be become rather "hot". Don't forget a jurno working for a daily has to produce the goods regularly or his editor is not going to be to pleased. cont Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 6 January 2019 7:56:22 AM
| |
cont
I have worked on a few election campaigns, and believe me the media is both your best friend and worse enemy. If you are a serious candidate you get yourself a good 'press' person, someone who the media can rely on, call, text, email, someone who will take your press releases and hopefully get a bit of column space, for you. One function of the press person is to shield the candidate from making off the cuff remarks to the press, which can be misinterpreted, and often are. A jurno would ring and say I've got a press release from the Liberal on so and so, we are going to run it tomorrow, Labor have given me theirs, I want all three comments if I can. Okay, then they will email you the Liberal press release and Labors comments. After a bit of a discussion you email the jurno your candidates two cents worth. That's often how it works, but things can go wrong and often do. Like feeding the lion, he can take the food from your hand like a good pussy cat will, but he can also bit the hand that feeds him. You never know what it is going to be. Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 6 January 2019 7:59:00 AM

Paul1405,
So basically your buying a journalists loyalty by giving him exclusive access, and its their job to make you look good or you take your exclusives elsewhere? That's Quid Pro Quo, and it proves the media landscape is flawed. "Like feeding the lion, he can take the food from your hand like a good pussy cat will, but he can also bit the hand that feeds him. You never know what it is going to be." It's not a journalist's job to be loyal to the people they get stories from, it's a journalists job to be loyal to their readership and display unbiased journalistic integrity. This is how democracy is diluted and citizens are mislead and misinformed. I want the truth, not bought and paid for media spin for the manipulation of useful idiots. If someone's statements are not denied, they still might be true or untrue. In most cases, people's statements are not challenged (particularly in the media). In most cases people who are challenged simple ignore the challenge.

I still did not let her off the hook, as I explained, because the help line number is on the web, and she works for the help line mob, which by the way turns out to be federal, go figure, so I explained she too was complicit and guilty of child grooming, or just plain wrong. I further advised that she pass my details on up the line so I can abuse someone higher, and so on, hopefully I get to abuse the bloody idiot/s who came up with this stupid program. I read the one about 'Youth say no', what a disgrace, who's running things up there. What I read made me sick, I told her this program discriminated against parents and left kids in a void, lacking direction or oversight. The govt first took away the power of the parents over their children then stupidly told the children, 'no-one can tell you what to do'. Idiots, one and all. What the govt has done basically, is to come into your home remove the child, by stealth and without 'just cause', then once outside, told them 'OK off you go and do what you want'. And that's why we have these out of control 'pigs' out there today. There seems to be no way of bringing sanity back to get things back in order any more. We are made helpless by whoever it is that's controlling Canberra. I've always said, if I ever fall to a terminal illness I will make sure I right these wrongs. Then if/when I get caught, the govt can foot my medical bills and care. I'd be incarcerated in hospital. What's not to like, room service every day, meals delivered in your room, with the newspaper, TV 24/7. To me it has always been a very pleasant 'holiday'. Hey ALTRAV,
"I further advised that she pass my details on up the line so I can abuse someone higher, and so on, hopefully I get to abuse the bloody idiot/s who came up with this stupid program." That's the way, why bother going to corporate when those morons are too busy eating their fancy taxpayer-paid free lunches and couldn't give a toss anyway ... They've got to leave room for these type of things if they're running a circus show. "There seems to be no way of bringing sanity back to get things back in order any more. We are made helpless by whoever it is that's controlling Canberra." - Personally I think a lot has to do with the UN sustainable Development Goals - Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 6 January 2019 2:31:42 PM

Armchair Critic,
Thank You for the links. We've already been told that the WA Dept of Education has stated that the "curriculum is still being developed." Therefore we don't actually know the specifics of what's going to be taught. In one of the links that you gave us - I found it interesting to read the given examples of abusive behaviour - some of which included: 1) Name calling and swearing/abusing to make people feel bad. 2) Turning around every argument/ so that its always your fault never theirs. 3) Threatening ... fundamentally grotesque assertions, slanderous comments, name calling, threats 4) Cyber bullying - using technology or social media to harass, intimidate, or again threaten. The link stressed that there is no excuse for being abusive and trying to excuse the behaviour is as wrong as the behaviour itself. It is important to identify acts of verbal and emotional abuse. People need to understand that it is not OK to be treated like this and that there is help available. We're not yet sure what the WA Department of Education has in mind, yet - but teaching youths - how not to behave - and "what's not acceptable" are standards worth proclaiming in schools - no matter how many times we may fail to live up to them. Again - Thank You for the links. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 6 January 2019 2:46:28 PM

AC, "Schools are places where children learn how to interact with others and work together in a respectful way. Schools model respectful relationships and can help students to understand that no one should be abused. For some students schools may provide the only safe haven they have for coping with family violence and abuse. Going to school for those students provides the stability and support they require." "Schools are also important settings for challenging and understanding attitudes and beliefs about gender and power that perpetuates family violence and abuse. Schools can be catalysts for generational and cultural change as they are both places of learning for students and places of work for adults." "By explicitly examining power relations and challenging traditional gender roles and stereotypes in classrooms and in policies and processes within the school workplace, cultural change can be shaped." "Peers are a key source of support for all students regardless of their experience of family violence." "Young people often find it easier to talk to their friends about issues and problems they may be having. These teaching and learning materials have been developed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to support their peers." Foxy, you do realise that out of 25 million or so people out there, it's pretty good odds that more than you can imagine will vehemently and aggressively dis-agree with that fantasy you have referenced.
I know you have noticed, and therefore I know that you have accepted these changes in, so called 'men' today, aka, 'SNAGS'. If this is the kind of 'male' you want, it's not the kind of MAN I and millions of others promote. I will not facilitate the death of 'man' to appease a selfish feminist, marxist, leftist, hatred towards men, agenda. Females have gone too far now and pushed too hard, it's time they stopped of their own recognisance or the men MUST put a stop to them. If they do it themselves they will control their destiny and in an orderly fashion, but if not, men will do what they instinctively do, resort to the physical. Because these maggots have gone too far, and did not tone it down or reel it in a bit, when they should/could have, they have left themselves vulnerably and open to attack now. You are promoting a division of status quo. In doing so you are achieving NO purpose or objective. It is a fruitless and useless endeavour because you cannot convince ALL men to become neuters, and if so then you have failed because according to the reasoning, it means there will still be men who will conduct themselves in ways contrary to your ethos and beliefs. So what have you and your lot achieved? Nothing!' Because if you cannot convert everyone, the ones you think you converted were never a threat, and the ones you did not convert, were never going to so, your grand total of converts result.........0! BTW, I suggest not trying to sugar coat the issue and refrain from saying it's only in the planning stage. It is a done deal, it's only the rollout that's left, because intelligent, mature reasonable teachers with some common sense have been putting up objections, so much so some have been re-located and some have left. Hey Foxy,
There's a lot of ideas I could add for this topic, but it'd be a long post. A couple of words that stuck out at me in your post: 'Gender Roles' "By explicitly examining power relations and challenging traditional gender roles and stereotypes in classrooms and in policies and processes within the school workplace, cultural change can be shaped." If I stepped back and made an observation I'd say that in regards to this whole PC social experiment, that: 'Gender Roles have reversed' (Or someone wishes to make it so). Men are being made into low testosterone soy-sipping effeminate little girls that do not lead. Whilst Girls are being empowered to become fighters and leaders in the role of traditional men. Is that or is that not an attempt to reverse gender roles? You see how that feel good crap you quoted actually turns out to be quite dangerous ideology? I don't like any of this because I think it's an attempt to socially engineer or manipulate society to look at issues emotionally rather than logically. As far as relationships go, there's plenty I could say on the topic I'd just like to make sure kids are prepared for relationships and how to best handle the situations that will inevitably arise. If that's the curriculum then fine, but if they step off that reservation and I want to know how and why. Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 6 January 2019 5:49:05 PM

I accept a fail for going only by the article wording gaving it a 75% false rather than do what Armchair Critic did and investigate outside the article.
Not having fully read his links,I see something else terribly wrong. I did not see reference to any text book to be used which brings in concerns about exactly who will be teaching this. Imagine the consequences if the teacher is gay, transgender or worse a pedophile, the thought of one of them teaching impressionable children is absolutely crazy. Hi Foxy, Happy New Year.
Late last year our second oldest granddaughter, without any provocation had a year 7 boy, she had never spoken to ever, call her a "curry muncher" Tazi came back with "shut up I don't even like curry!". Well, the next day the same boy comes up to her out of the blue an said something like "Why don't you get back on the boat and get back where you came from you curry muncher etc etc." With that Tazi slapped his face, and he went running off and reported her to a teacher. After getting the facts, the up shot was Tazi got a 5 minute detention for violent behaviour and a phone call to her mother from the class teacher, the boys parents were notified that he (again) needed to be counseled about his racists attitudes. Any other child he sees as "coffee coloured" is called names like "curry muncher" and told to get back on the boat, and get back to where they came from. p/s Our granddaughter was born in Sydney Children's Hospital to Australia citizens of Maori/Cook Islander descent in 2006. She is very "outdoors", a beautiful brown skin girl, who does't like curry, loves sushi, so she better get back to Japan. I said to her why did he pick on you? "Because he's Anglo, and a loser, who thinks its cool to be racists." Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 6 January 2019 7:01:39 PM

you only need to look at the snowflakes among the women in the Liberal party to see how inadequate many of them are to lead. And to see they want to increase representation at the expense of better men. What a stupid place Australia has got to.

Dear Paul,
Happy New Year to you and yours, especially Tazi. We took our grandchildren on Friday afternoon to see the film - "How to train your dragon..." we all enjoyed it very much. However on our way home our car engine went dead in the middle of a very busy turning lane. We had to call the RACV and get a tow-truck to get the car home. The kids and I caught a taxi. I was surprised to see that the guy with the tow-truck was from the Middle East, the taxi-driver was from India, the car-battery guy was from Pakistan, the other RACV guy who fixed the car, got it started, was from India. And I couldn't help but wonder - where were the Anglos? Our Indian taxi driver told me - "They don't like working during the holidays." There you are. I'm glad that all of these "curry munchers," had not gone back to where they came from. We'd have been stuck at that inter-section for a very long time in 46 degree heat. Thanks to these guys we managed to survive. We were very grateful that they chose to work during the holidays. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 6 January 2019 7:55:19 PM

Hi Foxy, one thing multiculturalism has taught me is there is more to a good curry than 'Clive of India' and 'Keen's' curry powders.
Thanks for the link, I like the line "not just a money cruncher, but a curry-munching money cruncher!" Our two favourites Tazi and her brother are like their mum, take them out to say 'Westfields' and all they want for lunch is sushi, never Macca's or K-fried. I tease Tazi especially "Wouldn't you like a Big Mac".... "Paul you are gross, anyway its not Big Mac its Big Muck!" Tazi is 12 going on 30. Turns 13 in April, wants a "Teenage Party" what ever that is. At Xmas (step)daughter lectured me on the evils of processed ham. Her personal contribution to the Xmas fare was a very healthy and tasty cheese, fruit and nut platter. Every one had to do or supply something for Xmas, food/drink wise. The younger (step)son did two Maori style puddings to his mother-in-laws recipe, turned out perfect, they were yumO' I have to say. The boys got talent, done two more puddings on Boxing Day due to popular demand. "T" was up at 4am Xmas morning, cooking as usual, kai (food) for everyone, it was too much as it is every year. Not all Anglo's didn't want to work over the hols. My son in Sydney (public bus driver) worked Xmas, Boxing, New Years Eve (double time plus on the drunks shift to 4am) then worked New Years night, big money, big tax. Son says New Years Eve is the safest of all. On one run from the City to Bondi at 2am he had a bus load (packed) of drunks and six coppers on board. I catch a lot of Uber's, been getting a lot more women drivers lately. New Years Eve, had a young Asian girl drive us home at 1.30am. I thought a bit dangerous for her, she said she never has trouble, and that night, many like us she had picked up from a few parties. She was working to about 5am. Hey Paul1405,
"wants a 'Teenage Party' what ever that is." - She's turning thirteen right; so maybe she wants to celebrate becoming a teenager - "I catch a lot of Uber's, been getting a lot more women drivers lately. New Years Eve, had a young Asian girl drive us home at 1.30am. I thought a bit dangerous for her, she said she never has trouble, and that night, many like us she had picked up from a few parties. She was working to about 5am." They're safer than taxi's because drivers don't carry cash. And you've got to use your phone (identifies you) to get an Uber; And if your too drunk, you're not able to use your phone properly to order one. - But still a little risky for girls on late night shifts - Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 6 January 2019 10:05:32 PM

That's right AC, you pay through your CC. A good service about a 3 to 5 min wait most times. Home from the club cost us the minimum which usually depending on demand is $7.50.
The "teenage party", not sure if she wants it at home or out, no alcohol or drugs. When I said what ever that is, too old for a kids party, too young for an adult party. Do you have it at night or during the day, those sort of things. Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 6 January 2019 10:38:03 PM

Foxy, good story.
From first hand experience, I can confirm what your Indian taxi driver said, but if he was talking to a non Anglo, he would have actually said; "they don't like working", and leave out the "during the holidays" bit. Which conveniently fits the Aussie mantra of; "I work to live and not live to work". More's the pity for the Aussies and their future prosperity and growth. Having said yesterday that the media rarely questions people's statements, I have to say that it did occur this morning, when an arrogant ABC reporter (Alison something) argued the toss with Senator Fraser Anning on News Radio. But of course, Anning is ‘extreme right, and Alison is a good little ABC Marxist.
When this harpy had finished her harangue against Anning, who she was supposed to be interviewing instead of touting her own Marxist views, she had a crack at his supposed waste of taxpayers money by appearing at a rally. Anning replied by pointing out that she and her employer waste $1 billion of taxpayers’ money each year. Without commenting on Anning's politics - or rather his supposed politics - I have to give him full marks for the calm, polite way he dealt with the pig-ignorant ABC Marxist and her 'far right’ nonsense. What about the obvious 'far Left’? They never get a mention. Is it because rude, aggressive behaviour, physical threats and filthy language is the norm for Australia's Left? Yes, it is. ttbn,
No, rude, aggressive behaviour, physical threats, and filthy language is not the "domain of the far Left." It's the domain of people who consider that sort of behaviour as normal. People who don't understand that it is not OK to treat others like that. That is precisely why we need our schools to model respectful relationships that will help students to understand that no one should be abused. And for some students schools may provide the only safe haven they have for coping with abuse. Going to school for those students provides the stability and support they require. That's why these programs have been introduced in states and territories throughout Australia along with the necessary tool kits for teachers and principals to follow under the guidance of the Departments of Education, Teachers Associations, and Institutions of Learning Posted by Foxy, Monday, 7 January 2019 9:28:47 AM

Dear Paul,
Tazi sounds like a remarkable young lady. I hope she gets the party she wants. I'm sure that she won't disappoint any of you in her choices. By the sound of it she's had a very strong foundation in her upbringing - with lots of support and love that have made her the admirable person she is today - and that she will continue to develop and be in the future. My love to you, your family, and her. Posted by Foxy, Monday, 7 January 2019 9:36:47 AM

The single biggest problem that most rational people have with the safe schools program is that it purported to be a program to promote tolerance and reduce the risk of bullying when in fact its objectives are completely different. Supposedly teaching children that gender is non binary and fluid and getting them to cross dress is going to engender tolerance?
The single biggest problem is that this concept has no scientific basis whatsoever and as Foxy alluded is an ideology that is closer to religion in its complete divorce from reality. That only one person in 200 does not identify as the gender fixed by their chromosomes makes this toxic fantasy a pure indoctrination exercise. Foxy, again you deflect.
The abhorrent behaviour you so quickly try to attribute to the right is thrown right back at you. If you bothered to look at some of the rallies, nearly always it's the left who are what you describe. If you applied the same critique as you did in describing the 'right', you will find, in reality, your first paragraph in response to ttbn is in fact a perfect description of your beloved left psychopaths. If you ever watch TV or the news, of course you do, you know then the scenes where these lovely foul mouthed little wallflowers are yelling and screaming obscenities and using pepper spray or whatever devices gives them the physical advantage in any attempt to make their point, at the same time belittling any opposition. Actually now that I think of it, I only have memories of the left and all their disgusting carry-on. I think the right believe they do not need to waste their time as the majority are already on side. This would make sense, because who needs to garner support for something that already has support. But the other side shows it has little support, and that's why it is resorting to tactics too low to comprehend, and it is because of this display of such gutter tactics that people are removing their support for this less than human group or cult. I have written, on another topic, how men have had enough of this petulant, childish carry on, and we have begun rectifying the situation, for the 'greater good'. If the female smart arses of the world reckon they're as good as any man, let them prove it. We won't allow these maggots to keep on infecting our children/us any longer. If these females want to test our resolve let them. I picture a scenario where these vermin are left lying in pain in their own wisdom to give serious thought to their acts and mantra. They are not welcome and they are not right, so the sooner they are neutralised the better. For ALL our sakes. Posted by ALTRAV, Monday, 7 January 2019 12:22:46 PM

ALTRAV,
I did not as you claim, "try to attribute abhorrent behaviour to the "Right." I stated that abhorrent behaviour was "the domain of people who consider that sort of behaviour as normal. People, who don't understand that it is not OK to treat others like that. That no one should be abused." You have just proven my point with your last post. You are a perfect example of rude, aggressive behaviour, your posts are full of physical threats and filthy language. And you think that this makes you a "real man". There's no point in arguing with someone who does not understand simple good manners and civility and who thinks he is always right. Someone who has no self-respect or respect for any one else. Posted by Foxy, Monday, 7 January 2019 1:03:39 PM
| |
And there you have it.
Simply because YOU say something is so, it does not mean it IS so. You choose to be sensitive about certain things, others do not over the same things. Firstly, I don't recall using filthy language. If I did there must have been a need for it, otherwise not necessary. As for me lacking civility, self respect, manners and so on and so forth, WRONG, I respond to the situation at hand. What you have just experienced, (and very lightly I might add) is a taste of the 'real' world. If you don't tone your overly childish beliefs and mantra down a little, I will always use the same amount of determination, in the reverse to bring someone back to the 'median' level of discussion. Foxy, your too 'girly' or too naive, according to your own comments. You must stop pushing this man debasing agenda. We now know that you live in dream world, and I and most others on OLO are slowly slipping away from you as your world is not real. YOU are the one who needs to accept the real world and suffer through it like I do, getting the boot in now and then, but never taking the eye off the ball. Please consider what you preach and ask yourself, do you really believe that forcing people to become these wallflowers of virtue, is really going to happen? Do you really believe that people are going to change into something they are not? Man, like everything else in life, including you Foxy, is flawed in one way or another. We are born with a certain DNA, sure some things can be changed, some SHOULD even be changed, but the will to do so is not always there, nor is the reason. If we all did what you say, it would still not be good enough, because the bad would become un-acceptable to the next person like yourself. And so it would go on until no-one spoke or communicated any more for fear of being called out, just like PC. Posted by ALTRAV, Monday, 7 January 2019 4:19:01 PM

ALTRAV,
Filthy language is language that needs cleaning. Like laundry. And you certainly do use it. But then as said earlier, for you this is normal behaviour and it is OK in your eyes to treat others like that. You think its fine to refer to women as - maggots, scum, vermin, sick and puerile irrelevants. Lefty Marxist maggots who have their "evil claws into our boys." Who hiss and barf. Filthy scum-bags, arrogant half-wits. You want a "face-off." And we can expect to see "a carpet of bleeding maggots." Men should use "their lefts" and "all it takes is one good salvo," to take care of these "neanderthals." And you call men who support these "maggots" - "neuters" It feels nice does it - to "give it to them?" For you that sort of behaviour makes you a "real man." You live in the "real world!" And anyone who dares to criticize you, doesn't. There's a word for people like you. But unlike you I'm too polite to use it on a public forum. "Ignorant Bully" will suffice. Foxy, what is wrong with all that you said, was not the repeating of and highlighting of some of the derogatory names and remarks I use as a rule, but the fact that you find them offensive.
Don't flatter yourself and your mates if you think I had to dig deep to come up with those words and phrases. HA,HA, Foxy, you can bleet and barf as much as you like, but let me assure you, it's because I like you I have NOT used any real and actual 'bad' words, just to show you that I am civilised and mature. If you doubt me ask someone you know from the 'dark side', and they will enlighten you so that you will be a little better informed about the real world. What's fun about verbally fencing with you is that you never attack the content only the delivery. I have to raise the language stakes, just to bring you back to earth. So back to point, if you believe that your agenda is not a hateful one you are sadly mistaken. Telling people that their attitude has to 'soften' to become more accommodating to the more sensitive people amongst us is an act of arrogance and discrimination. You are discriminating against those who are how they are yet they do not fit your mould of a SNAG, that is insensitive and discriminatory. You refuse to accept that there are many kinds of peole out there and yes, there are also ones who do not agree with your stance, and will never agree. There are bullies, there are cowards, there are leaders, and so on. The idea is leave well enough alone, kids get bullied all the time it's normal. That's part of life, your wrong about me being an ignorant bully. I'm not ignorant! Look Foxy, your a sweet little thing and you mean well, but all your blistering and blustering won't change a thing, don't be incensed by my attacking these vial anti human things, because that is what they are, they're trying to infect or groom our boys. "The 'teenage party', not sure if she wants it at home or out, no alcohol or drugs. When I said what ever that is, too old for a kids party, too young for an adult party. Do you have it at night or during the day, those sort of things." I'd guess maybe an afternoon party, movie night with a girls sleepover for her closest friends. Maybe she has an idea of what she wants herself? I went to a friends daughters 8th birthday party about a month back. We all thought it was kind of weird when they told us it was at the local tavern. To everyone's surprise, it was one of the best kids parties ever, all the adults agreed. There were no derro's because it was out on a deck off from the bistro area away from the main bar; No-one even drank and they provided an awesome host for the kids (mostly girls) that played all the party games. Adults and kids had their own tables out on the deck; Adults had jugs of water, soft drinks and these huge assorted schnitzel platters, kids got soft drinks, party pies, sausage rolls, chips and cake. - All told, it was half the price of a Macca's type party where there's isn't too much room for parents, and everyone had a great lunch and afternoon. Boys and girls in year three will be encouraged to explore different gender roles in class and wear ethnic clothing as part of a controversial new program.
The fresh syllabus, which has the backing of the McGowan Government in Western Australia, will be introduced to a handful of Perth schools from term one in February.
Students will be provided with a range of dress ups and toys and will also learn about different kinds of ethnic dress such as burkas, traditionally worn by women of Islamic faith.
The primary aim of the course, previously introduced to over a dozen Victorian schools in 2018, is to break down gender stereotypes.
Up to 10 schools in Western Australia will take part in the $1million Respect Relationships program.
Speaking on breakfast radio with veteran broadcaster Alan Jones in Sydney, Mr Morrison said he didn't 'want the values of others being imposed on my children' before adding 'it shouldn't happen at a public or private school.'
Simone McGurk, the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence, happily supports the program.
'By introducing respectful relationships in schools, we can continue to implement cultural changes in attitudes towards family and domestic violence,' she said.
'Early interventions can be critical.'
A spokesperson from the Western Australia Department of Education wouldn't confirm or deny whether 'dressing up' will be part of the 2019 gender education program, stating the 'curriculum is still being developed.'
