The reference for this lunacy applies to the UK. There is no black and white reference suggesting that it will happen here, just hearsay from Alan Jones. The lunacy was “previously introduced to over a dozen Victorian schools in 2018” it is claimed, but again no evidence. “Up to 10 schools in Western Australia will take part in the $1million Respect Relationships program”. Again, who says so? And, “Simone McGurk, the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence, happily supports the program”.

Quotation marks suggest that words came from the person named, but they are not proof. I think I'll refrain from commenting on this one. Despite my contempt for Labor, and the apparent hideousness of the rumour, I would like to know more. For instance, if it is true, what is the Liberal opposition in Vic and WA doing about it (same as they did in the last elections in those two states - nothing?) How about parent organisations? School P&F committees? Are they trying to protect their kids from this social engineering?

Good honest comment from you ttbn, I applaud you for that. We will most likely clash over something else another time, but not this time.

//Surely this is simply preparing more young boys for the homosexuals & paedophiles.// Hassy you are a little confused are you not. We are talking about State schools, not Catholic schools run by Fr Fukemup and his merry men. Since someone mentioned Catholic schools, I recall Sister Mary my teacher in the 3rd grade wore a sort of black buka, minus the face mask, although given her not so photogenic face a mask would have been a definite improvement. Maybe Sr Mary was a closet Islamist, masquerading as an Irish nun!
BTW Hassy, Since 'Being Gay'was only an elective subject at school you will be please to hear there are some who think it should be made compulsory

I too read this headline and article in last Sunday's Sunday Times.
I informed OLO that same day.
I'm reading all this too-ing and fro-ing, and that 'there is no proof this was ever said'.
How stupid, ignorant or arrogant must one be to say such a thing.
If it is not true, there will be a follow-up story of the paper being sued.
Same goes for the minister, boy you people make it very difficult to take you seriously, stop and think before you let your emotions run away with your brain.
Another little fact you neanderthals have completely missed is, the govt knows if they are going to introduce an un-popular law, they will test the waters and evade direct comments, so it can be slipped in another day when these morons are all pissed and watching some brain numbing bloody 'SPORT', such as what happened to the queers bill.
Why are we being led by these useless good-for-nothing maggots and faggots, who are clearly leading us into social destruction.
People, stop and take control of YOUR lives and your families lives, and if necessary, we must go beyond talking, that's what THEY want, because while we are talking about it we are not picking up arms and pounding these sick bastards into oblivion.
And they know we will resort to physical violence, that's why the scum keep saying things like, 'we must have a conversation about these issues'.
NO! We F@(#ING DON'T!
And as for the fairy tale suggestion that we wait till we have all the facts, or till they work it all out.
NO WE DON'T!
Once we get a hint of something foul, we must attack it immediately so as to stop it going any further.
This is exactly such a vial act, and should not be allowed to continue possibly by contacting your local member, after all they are not there to look good and ingratiate themselves at our expense.
It must stop NOW!

First I would like to remind people where they are, notice near the top of this page.

Paul1405 First You attack the source of the article rather than the contents. Where an article or topic originates from is totally irrelevant to the forum, we are here to discuss the topic you can't do that so attack where it came from.

This thread was approved by a moderator, so you want to set yourself higher than the moderator and say threads can only come from certain news sources approved by who? You (Don't make me laugh)

I post threads here for people to discuss not for idiots like you who want to troll, out of the last 10 threads under General Discussion 6 of them I started 4 were by others. ** By your warped logic none of them should be here. **

Quote "A British tabloid well known for sensationalism and exaggeration,"

** Some of your comments can also be classified as sensationalism and exaggeration. **

** You have gone beyond the bounds of ignorance, your ability to get things wrong is astounding. **

Quote "Just a small point, you say "Students will be provided with a range of dress ups...such as burkas, traditionally worn by women of Islamic faith"

Then Quote "But then you say "A spokesperson from the Western Australia Department of Education wouldn't confirm or deny whether 'dressing up' will be part of the 2019 gender education program, stating the 'curriculum is still being developed."

** See you were in such a hurry to troll me you did not notice when the thread was started only the words in the heading are my words ** If true, this is absolutely crazy. ** Notice I started it with "If true, I did not say or imply if it was, that was for the discussion"

What you accused me of saying was copied from the article then pasted to the page, they are not my words. ** So we now have determined you are not very accurate with your observations **

rache Quote "It never ceases to amaze me how gullible people can be to not only accept this sort of contrived rubbish as "fact" but then use their own distorted "facts" as a basis of an argument."

** Please give examples of where distorted facts have been used as the basis of an argument. **

** You just like Paul1405 attack the source of the article rather than the contents. Where an article or topic originates from is totally irrelevant to the forum, we are here to discuss the topic you can't do that so attack where it came from. **

ALTRAV - Thank you you are the only one who understands how bureaucrats introduce new laws & rules and expressed it in words.

Contrary to popular belief very little legislation is introduced by Politicians.

There are thousands of bureaucrats who come up with things they often first test the water to see what the general pulse is of the people, if very few people say anything it will be then the job of the Politicians to get the necessary laws passed.

If a lot of people object the bureaucrats will try to introduce the laws by stealth of a bit at a time so people don't notice.

Remember in the past unpopular legislation was introduced at the same time as the Royal wedding, that way it got virtually no MSM coverage.

The more people ignore or keep quiet about controversial things the sooner they become laws.

Remember where you are.

I have no problem with the experiment of wearing such clothing as it would show how this affects harmony amongst people.
What I am totally against is the absurdity of this costing a million Dollars. Why is there ANY cost at all & for what reason ?
