Phil, you post so much of the baseless distortions of the UK rag 'The Daily Mail' I thought you must also be the author of this nonsense. No, well their rubbish seems to be in line with your philosophy. Like you they are also obsessed with Muslims, and print as much crap on the subject as they can. The newspaper does it, partly to sell their paper, partly because it is the view of the proprietor, why do you do it?

The Amazon book description mentions Margaret Mead.

"Ian Hogbin belongs to anthropology's heroic age. He was a member of the brilliant between-the-wars generation that included Raymond Firth, Reo Fortune, Margaret Mead, Gregory Bateson, and Hortense Powdermaker, all of whom pioneered modern field research in the insular South Pacific."

I've been told that Margaret Mead's book 'Coming of Age in Samoa' has been completely disproven and all the assumptions made by her in regards to people being a product of their environment are garbage.

I remember vaguely this is the foundation for which researchers started to believe that peoples behaviors could be changed if you change their environment; or something like this.

People 30 years ago was just as repulsed about 'gay' ,marriage as they are today about sexualising kids. Its coming in all sorts of packages normally designed by deviants in the name of tolerance or some other deceit.

Paul1405 Congratulations you managed to post an 81 word comment not one of which addressed why you had lied.

As usual you attack the origin of the article instead of discussing the content of the article.

The more you do that the more you fail to achieve anything but convince people you are just trolling.

Runner, I agree, even though I may lack the linguistic skills to CONvince people against such debasing and unnatural acts, I never-the-less rely on a higher sense of reason, and these types of things, like queers seeking to be seen as 'normal' in such tenuous topics as marriage, is just too much and one does not need to have a 'conversation' about such things, we have a feeling about such things, and that should suffice.
The govt MUST not get involved in social matters, nor matters of family and their emotions.
Govt must maintain a pragmatic and distant view about issues to do with the families inner circle and modus operandi.
This is the perfect case and in extreme.
