“What is happening in the West is very much a result of too few of the majority opposing the strident extremism of those far fewer in number to whom our politicians inevitably cravenly capitulate. (Amy Brooke - whoever she is - in Spectator, Jan. 2019).

This is true in the case of the "strident extremism" raised in this post. Do something to stop the nonsense, using majority power, or go to water and do nothing. Stop complaining and ACT. But first, make sure the rumours are true.

I believe such manipulation of children's self image is not just a
stupid trendy fashion but it could generate a criminal charge of
cruelty to children. It only needs one child to behave in an
irrational manner and cause a problem of any sort and the teacher
could find herself up on a serious charge.

A lot of IFs there but then there are a lot of children that would be
exposed to such programming techniques.
I used "herself" because there are no male teachers for those ages.

I think from memory the NSW Minister for Education ordered that the
safe schools program not be adopted, is that correct ?

For further on boys having periods see,

"The Island of Menstruating Men: Religion in Wogeo, New Guinea"
by Ian Hogbin (Author).

available from Amazon and other sources, but probably not your local library.

I remember studying this phenomenon in Anthropology at Sydney many years ago, it apparently stuck with me in the subconscious.

Issy, thank God.
I thought you were serious.
Based on the heading, I began to cringe, then after reading the explanation I came back down to earth again, WHEW!
The mere thought of men menstruating was just too much to handle.
Anyway, I'm still no wiser but I think it has something to do with the Islands and their religions.
What that's got to do with periods, I don't know, but maybe if I could be bothered to follow it up, I'd know.
Can I be bothered?
NAH!

Just to add to the confusion the children are subjected too, what about the articles of the man getting.

http://www.science20.com/challenging_nature/a_real_pregnant_man_almost_certainly_possible_but_it_might_kill_him

Oprah Winfrey introduced the so-called "first pregnant man" to viewers of her April 3rd show this past week. Thomas Beatie appeared, six months pregnant, with his wife Nancy and his obstetrician, Dr. Kimberly James (by satellite hookup). You can see the complete show here. But many viewers thought the whole thing was blown out of proportion because Thomas was born with a perfectly normal uterus.

Is it really possible today? The answer, as I abstract from my 1997 book, Remaking Eden, is "almost certainly yes, but . . ."

With the birth of Louise Joy Brown in 1978, Steptoe and Edwards demonstrated the feasibility of fertilizing human eggs in a petri dish and placing embryos back into women where they can gestate to term. To date, several million children have been conceived through in vitro fertilization and born from women.

From the outset, scientists have mused aloud about the possibility of maintaining a pregnancy within the abdomen of a man. Tabloids routinely publish stories of success and in the popular 1995 film Junior, Arnold Schwarzenegger played a scientist who uses hormones and in vitro fertilization to make himself pregnant and ultimately "give birth." Movies and novels that mix real science with science fiction often lead to confusion in the public mind as to what is medically possible and what is not. Usually, scientists and physicians can be counted on to sort it all out.

With male pregnancy, though, something funny happens: Some say it is possible while others say it isn’t. To understand how different professionals can reach such opposite conclusions, we must delve into the thought processes of ‘the scientist’ and ‘the clinician,’ respectively.

Rest of article is at link above, going out don't have time to edit it.

ALTRAV,

The phenomenon did (does?) exist, and was undoubtedly painful for the men.
Not only that but they did all their own food preparation and cooking as the female menstrual flow was considered to be magical in its properties and frightening in its potential.
