Op2,

See,this is the sort of thing that completely throws us:

"I'm NOT an Atheist! I have said it many times...Can't you read? The Abrahamic religions are a big lie!"

For all it matters then, are you Muslim or Hindu or Buddhist or what ? No, you're not atheist either, so we're probably all simply trying to understand what the hell you're getting at. You hate Moses, okay, and you love Jesus. You hate Paul too. So most of both the OT and the NT seem to be ruled out. As an atheist, I don't give much of a toss one way or the other, although I like some of the fairy stories, they have so much to teach us.

So can you please clarify where you are coming from - it's really not obvious to anybody outside your head.

Joe

Op2,

"I am quoting the Bible 100% accurately? "

Is that a statement or a question?

//The Atheists that you speak of DON'T use the methods I do//

No, they use the superior method known as 'sound argument'. Maybe you'd like to give it a try sometime.

//I'm NOT an Atheist!//

Sorry, princess. Allow me to amend my statement:

\\Bertrand Russell, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens... Jesus, take your pick. There's no shortage of intelligent and persuasive anti-Christian thinkers out there, but you're not one of them.\\

Happy now?

//Not the sharpest Atheist in the shed are you.//

Well no, because I'm a pantheist. Pantheist are not atheists, but they're not Christian either. Like Buddhists, but not Buddhists. Unless they are. We're a broad not-really-a-church.

//Where's your analysis of Infancy Gospel of Thomas//

Sorry, princess.

The Infancy Gospel of Thomas if pure f^&king gold. A toddler Jesus wandering about Avada Kedavra'ing kids who annoy him and blinding their parents when they kick up a fuss? That is properly funny.

//I am typing to believers...

Here let me say it again ...to believers!//

Only in your own little manic delusions. Because there are only a few on this forum: runner has run along (thank God for small mercies), NotNowSoon has allowed himself to be led up the garden path by ALTRAPIST (good luck to him)... the only one that seems to be taking any sort of an interest is Josephus, and he's so rusted onto his position that Tsar Bomba couldn't shift him. Your attempts to convert 'believers' are only being heard by one believer, an he's selectively deaf.

Because this is a public forum. So there is no guarantee of getting the audience you want; you get the audience that show up.

//Why are you believers and the occassional braindead Athiest angry at me?//

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.

Because you are a shite-stain on the bedsheet of humanity.

Idiots like you make me despair for the human race.

Loudmouth...It is not one of life's imperatives to have a word that describes your acceptance or non-acceptance of the existence of a God.

Christians never follow Christ but they still call themselves Christian. So words are very unreliable!

Atheists often describe Atheism as not believing in a God. The nutters then turn that non-belief into an argument saying "see Atheism is a belief system." They are totally wrong of course but they are too thick to realise it.

"A non-belief is a belief system to the same degree as abstinence from sex is a sexual position."

I heard Bill Maher say that line and I thought it was very accurate and very funny.

But Atheists create the problem by referring to what they think as "I don't believe". The true definition is "an Atheist sees no evidence of the existence of God!

Now I was close to Atheism and saw no evidence for the existence of God until a few little events happened in my life. Events like the 2001 Tsunami happened to very religious countries and God didn't intervene...Babies still die and God didn't intervene...Children were abused in Churches and the Churches covered it up and God didn't intervene and people like Is here still stick with the religions that are guilty of these crimes and God doesn't intervene.

I had a near death experience which was very profound. No I never saw Jesus or Satan...but something amazing happened. I don't want to go into things here. I have spoken to a lady who also had one and she told the nurses after the experience that she saw the Adrenalin needle and where they kept it out of sight of the patient. The nurses were amazed!

//Events like the 2001 Tsunami//

Are you referring to the one that happened in 2004?

//I had a near death experience which was very profound. No I never saw Jesus or Satan...but something amazing happened. I don't want to go into things here.//

Is that because your near death experience was precipitated by a drug overdose, Opiated2heavily?

//I have spoken to a lady who also had one and she told the nurses after the experience that she saw the Adrenalin needle and where they kept it out of sight of the patient. The nurses were amazed!//

Oh, here we go... amazing anecdotes in place of evidence.

For somebody opposed to religion, you seem remarkably religious in the way you prosecute your arguments.

Loudmouth...As Toni is a moron and doesn't know when to shutup, I won't tell the rest of the story...It is quite an amazing story but my time is more valuable than to waste it on the likes of Toni

Atheists like Toni are the problem...They give Atheism a bad name...lmao

Suffice to say many people have had similar experiences, and nothing whatsoever to do with drugs, but the likes of Toni stop them opening up about them...

So where was I oh yes the Bible...

THERE ARE MANY VERSES IN THE BIBLE THAT DIRECTLY RELATE TO KILLING INNOCENT BABIES CHILDREN AND UNBORN BABIES!

Psalm 137:9 Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!

1Samuel 15:3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’

Hosea 9:14 Give them, O LORD–what will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

Hosea 13:16 The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.

2Kings 15:16 He sacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women.

Numbers 31:16-18 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

The children are killed and the women are raped...

Isaiah 13:15-16 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
