AJ,

"I'm not sure why you still think this is a trump card."

Well, no one ever explained why they occur and I just thought that Op2, with his wide knowledge of Scripture and religion in general, might be able to throw some light (heavenly or otherwise).

For those of you persisting in favour of religion, you must come to terms with the fact that ALL the religious accounts, mostly in written form, was the work of people who were followers or believers. There are too many holes in religious history to take the scriptures, bibles, Koran etc; as being true accounts of that particular religion/cult. I thought we were smarter than this. 2017 years ago we get this guy Christ who says HE is gods son. 700 years later we get some other dude Mohamed and now he is, what? Christ's replacement? The second coming that went horribly wrong and halfway to earth he got hi-jacked by a Muslim alien cult that converted him then sent him on his way. Oh and while they were at it they stuck him with all these awful things that humans must do to each other if they are true believers. Really guys? I did not care about all these threats to the white infidels before I looked into the Koran a little. Now I'm sh!t scared of them. I now truly believe if they (the Muslims) keep on this path, they are attempting to be the dominant religion/cult. It will take them many decades but the followers are so blinded by this cult it will keep passing the baton on to generation after generation. It will be difficult to break the brainwashing but with enough of them integrating and moving away from Islam, after a very long time, it will be possible to weaken the believers by diminishing their numbers and therefore the threat. By the same token, as has occurred in the past, if a non Muslim gets drawn in by a Muslim, it is very possible the opposite will occur, which will only bolster their numbers. I don't doubt for one second that Christ and Mohamed did exist. It's what is written about what they did and that they 'spoke' to God that's got me rejecting this whole religious thing.

The 10 Commandments

Now I have already shown how the Psychopath Moses was also a liar...

Now for the 10 Commandments!

Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

then

Exodus 32:14-16 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

So GOD can do evil? REALLY?

And Moses the grump destroys GOD's work...Apparently

Exodus 32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

So Moses punishes the people by putting the burnt gold into fire and then grounded it into powder and made the people drink it... REALLY?

Exodus 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

You might be on to something there, were these four-legged or three-legged tables?
Probably folding picnic tables; or were they arithmetical?

To Loudmouth.

With all due respect, I think it's a wrong approach to say what Christians believe or what they disregard, when you aren't a Christian yourself. Perhaps you have many Christian aquentiances you know who believe some things, but largely don't believe what their faith says. If that's where your getting your info then ok, let the numbers speak for themselves I guess. But if on the other hand you say most Christians don't believe ________, because it's too outrageous to believe, then I'd advise against that logic.

There are a lot of varieties of beliefs and views within Christian perspectives. Unfortunately they don't all agree with each other. Because of this I'd hold my weight on having the bible as the foundation to test the other beliefs and traditions against. ...I don't know if that's a majority view, but it is definitely a contending perspective.
