Csteele, I actually contemplated that very question whilst watching Q&A(Questions&Answers) on TV the other night. This very subject was being discussed.
I concluded that I do not actually have any factual information on that. I did hear of a few Suicide bombings including a school bus, before Israel built the wall. However I always have believed that the human race is territorially aggressive and it wouldn’t actually surprise me if maybe the Jews did discriminate against the Palestinians. Maybe there are books or stories as you say that I have not come across as yet. I do however have an open mind on the subject,if I can be informed of truthful incidents that happened before Israel was attacked by the Arabs.

As I have said before, I really don’t think there is a right or wrong in this Israel, Arab question, it is just that humans like animals need territory and territorial resources to survive and they have proven over and over again throughout history that they are territorially aggressive,(commonly called racism)and will kill over control of land and countries. The Jews are just as capable of territorial aggression,(racism),as the Arabs. As are we all.

Biological surivival instinct, but how to come up with answers to dampening down that aggression and living together peacefully is the question?

We will never find the answer whilst deluding ourselves that we are sweet little unagressive human creatures,very holy and incapable of violence. Christian and Jew and Islam. Best face the truth of our real Human nature and try to find solutions from that point of view. Difficult in the extreme. Especially with different religious ideologies to increase the divide.
