@Poirot,
<<I believe csteele tries to discern the hypocrisy in all of this>> You and I must be reading a different CSteele When you read this (and other writings) from CSteele: <<Michael Leunig relates; “As far as I remember, I have not done a cartoon about Israel for about a year, unless you count the ones about Iraq. Cartoonists are very reluctant to go near this prickly subject because there can be a large personal cost. One New Zealand cartoonist recently lost his job over such a cartoon>> Do you not see an implication that Israel & Jews are a protected species: that they are getting a level of protection that Islam/The Arabs don't receive. That being the case, it was quite proper for me to point out that in large stretches of the world where Israel and Jews generally, are the preferred game. And it is particularly pertinent given that those elements who are most aggrieved by the recent film are those most active in pushing the anti-Jewish agenda. @Poirot(2)
<<The Cronulla riots are only a small part of the mosaic...">> It’s funny, but hardly unexpected, that whenever those on the left bring up (their iconic example of WASPs acting badly) the “Cronulla riots”, they never, ever, refer to the “retaliation” which was more long lasting and more violent than the initial “riot”. <<groups armed with baseball bats …more than 40 cars… and drove down to the beaches “to get revenge”[1] with many of the cars ending up in Maroubra …A local of Maroubra reported that each of the cars that arrived was “full, you know had four passengers”[1] The convoy, of 100 to 200 people,[18][20] was reportedly armed with bars and bats, knives, machetes and guns.[1][18][21] The group assaulted several people, knocking one unconscious and threatening another with rape.[1][18][20] They also damaged between 60 and 100 cars, setting at least one on fire.[1][21] Police in riot gear moved to contain the violence and the crowds responded by throwing bricks and glass.[21][22] Residents reported that in some streets “every car”[23] had had their windows smashed, with glass covering the streets.[23] Police also confiscated 40 iron bars and arrested 14 people.[18][24]”>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Cronulla_riots <<...shades of Georgie Bush>> And I see you are still harping on about George W. I thought the blow-up doll of Georgie I linked you to would sate all your desires --perhaps, you really needed a blow-up CSteele doll. Posted by SPQR, Thursday, 20 September 2012 9:36:29 AM

SPQR,
I don't recall a link to a "blow-up doll" of George W....? However, you did link to a voodoo doll of him. (If you recall, in reply I inquired if you had a link to an SPQR voodoo doll - although you haven't got back to me on that one. I understand, though, if you've switched allegiances to the blow-up variety : ) Posted by Poirot, Thursday, 20 September 2012 10:07:16 AM

@Poirot,
<<If you recall, in reply I inquired if you had a link to an SPQR voodoo doll - although you haven't got back to me on that one. >> Aw gosh, on short notice this is the best I can come up with :http://www.stardoll.com/en/dolls/21/Ashton_Kutcher.html If you imagine a merging of Albert Einstein and Ashton Kutcher (and please resist the obvious quip) that is SPQR. SPQR,
Things are looking up. Albert Einstein was a true humanitarian, a humble and very wise man. Posted by Poirot, Thursday, 20 September 2012 10:50:51 AM

(Jayb, no doubt, considers that a spectacular trump line - Da Da!)
Pathetic.....
If you guys weren't so typical of certain "limited" mindset, you'd be hilarious. As it is you're all boringly predictable.
