@ CSteele,
On the subject of cartoons & unfavorable media portrayals.Take a geeza at this lot and then tell me if it is not a teensy-weensy bit hypocritical for you and those you have allied yourself with to get offended with unfavorable media portrayals [and it is well worth remembering too that most of the examples cited are NOT from fringe media but from mainstream sites] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXYR1u0RRxE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yw2EisVqKZ4&feature=relmfu http://www.adl.org/main_arab_world/arab_media_portrayal_jews.htm http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=786 "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone"[those who you have allied with need to take this literally] Posted by SPQR, Thursday, 20 September 2012 6:55:10 AM

Rechtub I share your concerns on this issue.
But believe banning the religion is unfair to those we never will have a problem with. I however am constantly and forever concerned at such as csteele. So very many of us make comment that ARE not related to truth. A history of very near, anti Australian middle thought, and opinion, runs in csteele, and some who support, him? I am not yet convinced it is a he. Can normal folk ignore both the unacceptable actions of the rioters, around the whole world, and the insignificance of the idiotic film. At present the Royal family is haunted by the topless photo scandal. Yet are WASPS running a muck in the streets? A SECTION OF THE world wide Muslim community, is anchored in a faith that is not we are told Islam. Why then is it increasingly hard to talk of it? Why are we not looking at how very small the insult and how dreadful the reaction? Why are we not being honest enough tosay this is unacceptable in any country? "Those you have allied yourself with..."
Nice (shallow) one, SPQR...shades of Georgie Bush - "If you're not with us, you're against us"? I believe csteele tries to discern the hypocrisy in all of this - something akin to Michael Leunig's sentiments in the link: "...Well, my work is usually humanistic, so in a universal sense it can be safely assumed that I'm deeply reluctant about anybody's violent policies and deeds. Political cartooning is particularly interested in the phenomena of our hypocrisy and is not so much concerned with decrying the obvious conventional devil, but with revealing that there is a bit of devil in all of us....When you're alone on the receiving end of such malice and loathing you get a privileged insight into what lies beneath the surface of our "civilised" society. The Cronulla riots are only a small part of the mosaic..." But carry on, SPQR. Some minds are only capable of skating on the surface. Posted by Poirot, Thursday, 20 September 2012 8:29:54 AM

The cartoons published by moslem media are far worse than the cartoons
published in the west. So what are the moslems complaining about ? Perhaps the solution might be to publish thousands of cartoons made to annoy moslems and so make the whole subject a joke. A cartoon war if you like, it would be better than what we have now. Posted by Bazz, Thursday, 20 September 2012 8:55:25 AM

You won't get Ali bin csteel to watch anything that shows her jihad friends in a bad light. I posted some Utube links showing what their plan is for the world, but she won't watch them or comment. I have watched all the links posted here. There is some terrifying stuff. Especially the children on Arab TV. These children grow up & come to the West with intent. Ali bin csteel & friends support them. I think that all jihadists should be removed from Australia regardless as to whether they were born here or not. Nothing to do with Hate, just safety. This also proves that it's not the people that are the problem, it's the beliefs of their religion that is the problem, because after all, nobody, Australian or otherwise, is born to hate, they are tought to hate.
Therefore, the only way to solve this, is to ban the religion, including the likes of the burka, here in Australia.
People have to choose between their Muslim religion, or Australia, but they simply can't have both, as they (thier leaders) are incapable of protecting us Aussies and our peaceful way of life.
