Poirot and Joe,when it comes to multiculturalisim, this is not your ordinary group of immigrants, as they promote terror and beheading from within.

Of all other cultures, invited to call Australia home, I don't know of any of them who promote and nurture such hatred and harm on humanity.

Now while I accept that these hate seekers may be a small percentage, in my view, JUST ONE is simply unacceptable in our peace loving nation.

Although I domt expect all invitees to odopt our customs, they must all respect our ways. No ifs, no buts, and there is simply no room for anyone who threatens the life of others.

A student of logic and argument could do worse than study your tactics, Poirot, with respect: obfuscation, diversion, abuse, walking off in a huff (and returning a short time later), feigned exasperation - all good. Now this one, of tarring anybody who disagrees with you with the brush of your most extreme antagonists, as in your post immediately above.

But what are the issues ?

Re your last post Poirot. This describes you exactly, dear poirot. After going through that list you should get the idea that most Australians do not like what these people are doing & are trying to turn Australia into. Please accept that fact. The fundamentalists & the tame ones have the same goal in mind, just using different methods. And you support them? Well, the tame ones at least. I just don't understand the mentality that wants to go back in time 700 years for the sake of harmony. (See capitulation)

Talking about "offends". I have noticed that some people are offended by anything & everything. They go looking for things to be offended by so as to feed their egos. James & Jongewards Transactional Analysis & Gestalt theory seems to explain why this happens. They explain that it has to do with role play. Some people are constant victims & of the three states, Parent, Adult & Child, they live mostly in their "Child Ego State". They alternate between anger & sulkiness to manipulate people.

Poirot: That kind of gives you a picture of the sort of mentality alive on this thread, don't you reckon,

You see the list of posts you have given as personal insults to your & your ilk’s egos. They are not. You have taken them personally. They offend your personal view on a particular subject & you seem to have a long list of subjects that, if disagreed with, are a personal affront. We, who have an alternate view, are accused of being aggressive & disagreeable. This is not the case. We, just have a different view to you based on our personal life experiences.
