It is known, and I have lost Friends for it, I do not trust the greens.
But as they use my party, on the back of less than one 5th of the vote, I must use them.
Yes I was brave, said I would not, but I must.
I am forced to vote for them, without preferencing any one.
Yep said I would not but it is well thought out not spite.
My party needs its flogging, fear not Bazz it is gone.
Power now looks like a bucket,or what is left of one,no bottom no handle, one side full of holes the other rust.
Sell it.
Barry could take even the next election, yes in 4 years! if he runs the state, stops targeting federal Labor as he is, stops trying to look tough in a ring he need not enter.
If he learns this lesson now,he may, if not within 6 months the ALP in any case will have taken out the trash, lot of loads there, and be rebuilding.

Belly, good to see you are voting for the Greens. The biggest load of trash left is that MLC, and he's there till 2015, still pulling the strings. Della Bosca and Tripodi have retired to the sidelines but their influence will still be around regardless of who's the front man or as we have now woman, along with the faceless ones.
Did you see the coverage our candidate Mehreen Faruqi got on the Channel 10 news the other night, for all the right reasons, under the heading 'Premier could lose her seat'! The truth is Mehreen is the only candidate in Heffron on the ground door knocking, letter boxing running stalls, meeting and listening to voters, Keneally(ALP) and Pandelos (Lib) are no where to be seen, missing in action. if effort counted for anything The Greens would win Heffron by a country mile as we will Marrickville and Balmain.

There is only one solution......Nuclear power, and what chance that after the sale of the total assett.

Barry and his party are as alienated from their rank and file as the NSW Labor right is to theirs, we will see if he brings sound government or blame any inability to deliver on the fact that he was left a basket case of a state.

Somebody mentioned Della and Tripodi skulking off to the wings, won't change a thing; the whole of Sussex Street has to go. We see the "rights" candidates but they are just the candidate, the whole right corium has to go, the ones who never leave the backroom.

I believe it warrants a DLP style split or expulsion scenario to cleanse NSW Labor of the self serving criminals of Labors right and their associates and families who have lived high off the taxpayers dollar, nepotism and gain because of association is rife.

Sonofgloin nothing deserves a DLP split, ever.
This election result will fix it.
I agree on Nuclear power,it will need to be a federal choice, some are vocal in backing it, and must win.
I have a thread if it gets a start it will focus on future directions of the ALP.
Based on the report handed down today, union involvement in the party, recruitment, and heedless leadership, such as Gillards insults to what went on at AWU National conference.
Split? greens in away are, most recognize half their vote are lost ALP ones.
As past attempts seem to prove no new party has lasted as long as the greens Democrats degenerated in to a lost tribe totally alien to its reason for existing.
But just maybe one day, if Labor continues to run not walk away from its roots a union/workers based off shoot could get seats in both houses and force a turn to our values.
The simple, instant coffee answer is send Julia back to her law roots and 4 followers too.

haha...... ANY government which is strapped for cash.. is overburdened with DEBT from previous governments.. or.. wants to ingratiate itself with voters in marginal seats.. willll

DO WHAT IT HAS TO DO.. to keep power.. buy people.. sell people... yada yada.

Let's not forget... the REAL goal of politics is not about 'we the people'..it's about keeping power FOR a small group of political supporters who run BIG businesses, and for the entourage of 'inner circle' who benefit financially from the process..

-same for both sides.

The Words of Jesus are appropriate here. "Pay to Caesar what is Caesars"...(but not a cent more)

John the Baptist might chime in from the grave also:

"You brood of VIPERS"

Jesus might also have some colorful words for those who milk the system for their luxury apartments, cars and hookers.

15 “Woe to you, lawyers and and (secular) Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert (Voter), and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are. Mat 23
