If you can't see that you are being led by the nose into a world of half-truths, innuendo and manipulation, by a clever communicator using carefully selected quotes, Boaz, than I'm afraid there is little hope for you to understand any more than that which you are being told.
It's a shame, of course. But since you use exactly the same tactics in your various whack-a-mozzie campaigns, I cannot pretend to be surprised. Have a great day. Posted by Pericles, Monday, 15 November 2010 5:26:21 AM

I remember when I was about 20 - 60 years ago, there was an article in the papers of a group who said that the very rich should own and control the world, and I don't doubt that some effort has been put in to accomplish this.

Merv09.... oh my... you headliner with no substance :) (I'm being Pericles)
Pericles, I suspect is either 'part' of the movement, or shares their values and objectives it seems. He might even have shares in Media Matters... but he can't see that when George Soros is justly attacked on Fox...that the headlines/soundbites and information is mainly from Soros himself.... and of course MEDIA MATTERS gives it's spirited "defense" or Mr Soros who just gave them a million bucks to do so :) Nope..this is lost on Pericles. It's a bit dodgy blaming someone for 'carefully selecting soundbites' when the full story is out there in full in any one of a number of volumes Soros has produced. The only issue is 'Do the headlines/soundbites' accurately reflect the tone and direction of the volume from which they came. I'm not sure why Pericles would defend Soros.. Pericles.. any insight there about your position ? I'm guessing you are either a convinced socialist 'elitist' or.. you just like to poke your literary finger at anyone you suspect of shallowness ? On the "whack-Islam" theme... you are just out of your depth there I'm afraid. Example. "Islam specifically permits wife beating" (assertion) Quran 4:34 read it and be thankful you are neither female nor Muslim. That verse is 'prescriptive' ie... 'Permitted' In Islam, which has the following categories of behavior. -Obligatory -Permissable -Tolerated -Haram/Unlawful. This will help you get up to speed Pericles. http://www.jihadwatch.org/islam-101.html Posted by ALGOREisRICH, Monday, 15 November 2010 1:52:27 PM

Dear Al,
It begs the question - that if conclusive evidence of Soros' megalomaniacal plan to take over the world is so evident and readily available, then why is Beck spending so much time deconstructing and reconstructing it into bite-size portions for his audience? Indeed it does dear Poirot!
Probably because of this: "Inevitability of gradualism". Soros (and Fabians) know that if you 'clutter' the political space with soooo much stuff going on... even something in plain sight will be invisible to the average "poirot" or Al in the street. Because things happen by 'string pulling' and in small increments with the prime movers pulling those string sufficiently removed by a few layers (like the Organized Crime bosses).. it makes it difficult to join the dots to those individuals. I cannot for the life of me fathom how anyone (including your illustrious self, but SPECially the likes of brother Pericles) who has done a bit of reading of history and conflict between nation states etc....can NOT see that all of it boils down to such people as Soros (people who can pull very tight financial strings and who have a 'vision' for the world - in their image) Just think..the Merdici's in Venice.. crikey..they were almost paranoid about 'competing families' trying to assasinate them and get their business (Banking) One can name any Monarch or 'Noble Family' and it's the same thing....dominance, wealth, power, greed, glory. Don't you agree ? Why would it be any different today? If you have a very close look at Beck's agenda, you'll see that his focal point is not a 'new political system' as much as 'new people' who have restored "Honour" to its rightful place in society. He rips into the republicans as well as the demobrats. Posted by ALGOREisRICH, Tuesday, 16 November 2010 7:24:22 AM

//Soros had previously experienced considerable success in effecting "regime change" elsewhere in the world. For instance, he helped fund the 1989 "Velvet Revolution" that brought Vaclav Havel to power in the Czech Republic. And by his own admission, he helped engineer coups in Slovakia, Croatia, Georgia, and Yugoslavia.//
Note the words "By his own admission".....
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201011090050 that's a left wing media site critical of Beck. The vid has useful information on Soros.
One would need to dig a bit deeper in the 'Shadow Party' volume for specific documentation.
You could examine the connection between Soros/Open Society Institute/Centre for American progress and see how policy and even Obama's team members were chosen by the CAP. (by their own admission on their web site..I've linked to that before)
