Hi AC,
Trump don't care about the world oil crises he created with his illegal war, In his opinion those cut off by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, can go get their own oil. All the time, America is stealing millions of barrels of Venezuelan oil. "Following the ousting of Nicolas Maduro, the U.S. was scheduled to receive between 30 million and 50 million barrels of Venezuelan oil. By late February 2026, President Trump stated that the U.S. had received "more than 80 million barrels of oil" from Venezuela. The multinational American company Chevron, operating under special U.S. authorisation, has been a key player in stealing oil, exporting between 100,000 and 150,000 barrels per day of Venezuelan crude to the U.S." Posted by Paul1405, Friday, 3 April 2026 2:35:38 PM

The Venezuelan government stole from everyone and enriched themselves. The Iranian regime is worse to the extent that it has been criticised by the UN.
"Seized Assets and Industries: Oil and Energy: In 2007, Chávez nationalized major foreign-owned oil projects in the Orinoco Basin, seizing assets from companies including ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Total, and Statoil. The state-owned oil company, Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), took over these operations, forcing foreign companies into minority positions or out of the country entirely. Farming and Land: Millions of hectares of privately owned land were declared "underutilized" and seized by the state to be redistributed or run as collectives. Factories and Industry: The government seized hundreds of factories, manufacturing plants, and industrial assets, including those owned by foreign companies like Cargill (food products) and local cement companies. Infrastructure and Services: Infrastructure, including ports and transportation infrastructure, was taken over, as well as businesses in the steel (Ternium Sidor) and telecommunications sectors. Financial Assets: The administration engaged in strict currency controls, and companies often saw their cash holdings devalued or frozen, limiting their ability to pay for imports. Impact of Seizures: The nationalizations and expropriations aimed to redistribute wealth to the poor but led to massive economic mismanagement, a drop in foreign investment, and, eventually, a decline in oil production. Venezuela’s oil production fell from over 3 million barrels per day in 1997 to under 1 million in later years. Aftermath: Following the seizures, several international corporations took Venezuela to international arbitration, with tribunals later awarding billions of dollars in compensation to companies like ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips." Hi Fester,
It's rather pathetic that you try to justify one criminal outrage with another equally despicable act. Did you not justify the murder of 70,000 innocent Palestinians, including 20,000 children, carried out by the Zionist regime, based on the murder of 1,200 innocent Israelis. As long as the killings are the work of those you support, its all okay. I can see how Hitler got away with murdering 6 million Jews. Why are you so callous about human suffering? Is it you don't care about those who are not like yourself? You seem to hate such people, are they nothing but numbers to you. The coward Trump gloats about those he has had murdered in Iran and elsewhere. Posted by Paul1405, Friday, 3 April 2026 8:06:42 PM

When you start skating on the thin ice of 'ends justifies the means' -
- Without judgement, I'd say there's many here regurgitating what the misleading media tells them. Trump asked for a 48 hour ceasefire, which was rejected by Iran. U.S. planes are being shot down because they're out of Tomahawk cruise missiles and can not longer attack Iran from distance. "The US is critically low of air defense interceptor missiles. They're also critically low of standoff offensive munitions. The numbers have gotten so low, if you take a look at the number of tomahawks fired in the last week dropped down to zero" http://www.youtube.com/live/jU5BQKaEaa8?t=453 Also, U.S. and Israel are attacking universities and pharmaceutical manufacturers, like they're lashing out at the citizenry for not rolling over. Officials warn US is running out of targets to strike in Iran http://www.politico.com/news/2026/04/02/trump-vows-to-keep-attacking-iran-but-hes-running-out-of-targets-to-hit-00856497 Iran still has plenty of targets... Hi AC, (Happy Easter)
Trump may withdraw, with his usual bluster, "Mission accomplished, our objectives have all been achieved, Iran has been obliterated etc etc". Just a couple of days ago Trump was claiming regime change had happened in Iran, with the old ayatollah, supreme leader dead, and a new ayatollah in charge. Trump claims the "new" regime is begging to make a deal, and the new supreme leader is a "moderate", being his kinda guy! Me thinks Trump has dug a big hole for himself, and is now looking for a way out, with lots of bravado he'll try to save face. Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 5 April 2026 7:45:38 AM
