There is a reason why successive US presidents have resisted going to war with Iran. War creates uncertainty, there is no guaranteed victory, diplomacy has a better chance of meeting one's objectives. Israel has had as its major foreign policy objective the extermination of Iran who it sees as a major threat to Israel's exclusive occupation of Palestine. Netanyahu has tried and failed to get Bush, Obama, Bush and Biden to go to war but finally in Trump he has the delusional fool who is willing to resist Pentagon advice and go to war. Trump won't have to pay the price for this fiasco - the rest of the world will pay it.
At least he gets his wish for immortality -history books will use his presidency as a salutory example what happens if you allow a moron to become president and select a cabal of morons to advise him.

All the argument here misses the point.
Iran made significant progress to nuclear weapons.
Once they had produced one weapon it would be all over.
We, and I mean all of us, are in a different game.
Their mission is to destroy Israel, the US and all nonbelievers.
They are required by Allah to destroy all of us.
They say it often enough and it is so firmly believed we must
believe them, especially when they undertake a nuclear weapon
project and produce weapon grade uranium.
It would be very simple to destroy New York if they just managed
to build one bomb.
Put it into a shipping container and smuggle it into the
freight industry for shipping to a New York address.
When the container gets there using a radio triggering receiver
and even inside a container a signal could get in.
Just trigger it with a New York FM station or other service
system. Knowing how long it takes freight to get to the US a
simple timer could be used.
Can anyone think why they would not do that ?
