They could've done this anytime they wanted.
They were in negotiations, under the cover of a white flag, when the West attacked again, and it wasn't the first time they did this.

And you still don't get it through your head that the U.S. and Israel caused all the wars and conflict that has lead to this current situation, including the immigration that has increased your fear of Islam.

Israel wants to ferment fear of Islam, so that it takes away the blame from their own actions.

It doesn't matter what Trump says.
The war won't end unless Iran decides to do so, and they're making the same arguments as Russia.
- Deal with the root causes of the conflict or the war won't end.
And after the U.S. and Israel just murdered the new leaders entire family, don't expect them to change their mind.

The West is in no position to dictate anything.
Israels will be heading to their bomb shelters 4 times a day, and any further attacks on Iranian infrastructure will result in reciprical responses.

Meanwhile, expect airlines to start going bust, fuel going up at the pump, fertilizers prices and food on the table to increase.
Australia gets a third of its fertilizers from UAE.

Interestingly the UAE can't provide military support the RSF in Sudan, and the Sudanese armed forces are gaining momentum.

EU faces a new energy crisis, they sanctioned themselves out of Russian supply, Qatar has halted gas production and the U.S. is at capacity.

Every day Iran fails to kneel, (which they wont) the political and economic effects multiply.

Iran didn't throw the first punch, and the West is in no position to dictate anything.
They wanted this war, and we all have to pay for it.

Armchair said one true thing;
The war will not end until the root cause is removed.
The question of course is the decision to call for Allah
to require the believers to eliminate Israel and the Jews.

When Islam was "invented" in the 7th century the Jews were
the number one enemy as Mohammad had had trouble with
the Jews when he was a brigand desert raider.
So there you have it in a nutshell, the whole cause of all
these wars and strife for the last 1400 or is in 1500 years.

As far as Iran is concerned they are fanatical Islamists
and believe they must obey Allah will.
If they could obtain nuclear weapons it would remove Israel
and US advantage. Any losses of their own people are of no
consequence as martyrs they will be immediately in Paradise.

But how do we get there. We must get boots on the ground
with mining experts to recover the enriched uranium.
Then somehow fission material must be better controlled.
Otherwise we will rotate through these scenarios
from time to time.
It is depressing that so much air time is spent arguing
about the various causes of the war, when the real cause
is promoted every Friday.
