"I think Trump spakked it and called the Iran 10 point plan fake news or something."
Whatever spakking is. Trump has said that the Iranians have a 10 point plan, but that the one they tried to foist on the gullible such as yourself has nothing to do with the plan that forms the basis for the peace talks Posted by mhaze, Friday, 10 April 2026 7:55:14 AM

Hi Paul,
I've heard it stated by others that 'the Chinese probably now think taking Taiwan would be easier than previously thought'. "What is your opinion, should US and China come to blows over Taiwan, how do you see the outcome." I'm not sure, but there's probably some useful info in this video I watched earlier. http://www.youtube.com/live/sySgSUEnpO4?t=967 I think that if the West has underestimated Iranian capabilities, (specifically those provided by China such as radar, surface to air issiles and BeiDou), then that may also speak to them underestimating Chinese military capabilities. At the same time, I'm sure the Iranians are reassessing gaps after the U.S. was able to land those C130's and conduct a ground operation, even though it failed. Losing 480m worth of aircraft does not demonstrate a successful outcome. Hi mhaze "Whatever spakking is." - Well, from what I heard the story was Trump agreed to the initial 10 point plan, confirmed by Shariff, and then immediately afterwards the Israels (Netanyahu, Adelson, Levine) dragged him over hot coals and so he walked it back and they all said 'No, no. It never included Lebanon.', When it did. "Trump has said that the Iranians have a 10 point plan, but that the one they tried to foist on the gullible such as yourself has nothing to do with the plan that forms the basis for the peace talks" - I think it was Trump just absolutely desperate to get a ceasefire. Regarding 'Demand' as earlier discussed. I'm not sure but they might be demands that need to be met before Iran will even negotiate, not actual topics for negotiation. I've heard the 'toll booth' situation in the Strait of Hormuz might be considered as a substitute for the reparations demand, which isn't considered realistic because the U.S. would never pay, even though it started the current conflict. Based on statements by Caroline Leavitt, I don't think there's anything for the Iranians to discuss and I'd cancel the proposed meeting in Islamabad, I wouldn't even bother, what is there to discuss? Talks collapse. Iran 'refuses' negotiations citing Lebanon
BREAKING: Iran Draws Red Line; ‘No Talks’ With Trump Unless U.S. Meets Key Demand http://youtu.be/iuhZQevyyrM Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 10 April 2026 5:55:08 PM

Hi AC,
Absolutely, the ceasefire was dependent on ALL hostilities being stopped immediately, including the Zionist attacks on Lebanon. Trump is again lying when he says a ceasefire in Lebanon was not included. The Pakistani mediators were unequivocal about that condition of a total ceasefire. But what can we expect from Trump and Netanyahu, honesty, I don't think so! Posted by Paul1405, Friday, 10 April 2026 9:04:36 PM

Iranian delegation arrives in Islamabad for truce talks, insists on preconditions being met
http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2026/04/10/766611/Iran-talks-United-States-Pakistan-Islamabad-Qalibaf-Araghchi-Vance-Witkoff-Kushner >>A high-ranking Iranian delegation has arrived in the Pakistani capital Islamabad for talks with US representatives, as Tehran warns that any failure to meet its preconditions will derail the process. Headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf, the delegation, which includes security, political, military, economic, and legal committees, arrived in Islamabad on Friday night.<< JD Vance expects ‘positive’ US-Iran war talks as he departs for Pakistan http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/4/10/jd-vance-expects-positive-us-iran-war-talks-as-he-departs-for-pakistan 'Vice president says Trump gave ‘pretty clear guidelines’ on talks, which will be productive if Iran does not ‘play’ US.' meanwhile... http://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-04-11/iran-war-live-updates-pakistan-peace-talks-trump-vance/106550978 >>Donald Trump says Iran has "no cards" while warning against any move to block the Strait of Hormuz, as Pakistan prepares to host peace talks today aimed at ending the Middle East conflict. An Iranian negotiating delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has arrived in Islamabad for the planned talks with the United States. US Vice-President JD Vance is expected to arrive in the Pakistan capital in the coming hours to lead the US team. Meanwhile, Tehran has placed two conditions on talks getting started: the unfreezing of Iranian assets and Lebanon's inclusion in the ceasefire.<< And this... Trump threatens Iran with warships if peace talks fail >>US President Donald Trump has told The New York Post that US warships are being reloaded with "the best ammunition" to resume strikes on Iran if peace talks in Pakistan fail. "We're going to find out in about 24 hours. We're going to know soon," Trump said in a phone interview when asked if he thought the talks would be successful. "But we're loading up the ships. We're loading up the ships with the best weapons ever made, even at a higher level than we used to do a complete decimation. "And if we don't have a deal, we will be using them, and we will be using them very effectively."<< Seems like standard threats / blackmail / regime change / military intervention mentality. - Send your warships Uncle Donald. What is your opinion, should US and China come to blows over Taiwan, how do you see the outcome. I'm sure China has been taking careful note of America's "fighting ability", or lack of, against a relative poorly armed Iran(compared to China).
Also the Australian military chief Admiral Johnson, has warned of the massive reduction in American war capability in the Indo/Pacific. I'm sure music to the ears of the Chinese, singing 'Taiwan Here We Come'.
