ttbn said; "Two or three of the usual numbskulls still banging on..." I assume you are one of the two or three.

Fellow space cadet ttbn thinks you're a numskull... that's the same bloke who in 2019 signed up with the Corny Banana Far Right Party. Shelled out his taxpayer welfare to support the parties elite as they jetted first class around the country, staying at the finest hotels. After scoring less that half a percent of the popular vote, Corny shut up shop and left poor old ttbn shaken and bewildered, and out of pocket. Now who is the numskull?

"Yes...he's a dictator. That was rather my point. Of course we all know you are a shrill for the world's dictators."

Propaganda.
Narratives and keywords manipulate you, force you to take sides.
Help you to form an opinion before you even have one of your own.

You could say 'dictator'... or
You could just say 'The President of Russia'

When you say 'dictator' does if fill you with a need to take action?
Maybe involve yourself in the internal affairs of another country?
- Believing you're 'doing the right thing'?

Maybe you're a man of action
A man of conviction, with the balls to back it up.
Maybe we should arm you to the teeth, and parachute you in?

A lot of people supported Ukraine believing it was 'the right thing' too mate
- And a hell of a lot of Ukrainians are dead now.

Maybe half a million is a drop in the pond to you.
And who knows how many women and young girls and kids ended up with the likes of human traffickers, sex traffickers and organ harvested?

Maybe you think more Ukrainians dragged off the street and sent to the front to die with no chance of winning is also 'the right thing'?

We must stand up for democracy!
- And who cares who suffers in the process

(Really it's just a silly long term plan to overthrow Putin, chop Russia into tiny weak states, loot the country, make them weak and pathetic and manageable with LGBTQI and ring fence China; in order that everyone kneels before the West and continues to use their very special bits of ink and paper AKA The U.S. dollar.)

I tell you what mhaze...

I dare you - and everybody else here to actually learn something.
Maybe it's time for all you naysayers to actually get an education.

First, I'm going to let the late Gonzalo Lira explain 'The Wolfowitz Doctrine' to you.
This bloke died in a Ukrainian prison after being tortured for telling the truth, and he'd still be alive today along with half a million Ukrainians if it wasn't for all of you cheering them on into a war against their larger more powerful neighbour...

But I digress...

Is there a way we can do that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Pointing to his head, Mr Trump went on: « I'm not a doctor. But I'm, like, a person that has a good you-know-what.» = [no translation necessary]

Dear Banjo,

The Australia Institute, tells us that:

Donald Trump appeals to Americans' worst instincts. We're
told that a great many of them are suffering from entrenched
poverty, violence, and alienation. The think tank explains
that this is probably why his conspiracies
and lies find such committed believers.

They paint for us - a rather frightening picture based on
Trump's words, and actions to date.

We're told that Trump does not care about the suffering of
those who support him. He only cares about himself. That he
has no idea about service or sacrifice.

He's called American Service people who fought and died -
"suckers," and "losers."

It is all of a concern because The US has been Australia's
security for decades. Presidents and Prime Ministers have
come and gone. But, none of those leaders have ever been
an active threat to our shared value of democracy -
until now.

Trump has said he will get rid of the American Constitution.
The man is unpredictable. And certainly does not represent
security, safety, or stability.

It is suggested that we should reconsider spending billions
of dollars on some submarines that we may or may not get
sometime in the distant future and further cede our
sovereignty to a wannabe dictator.

That we should instead invest in careful diplomacy in our
region working with allies in the Pacific and with
neighbours such as - Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and
Vietnam to ensure our collective security.

Our future plans should mean staying true to our democratic
values and it should mean being clear-eyed about the state
of democracy in Australia.

http://australiainstitute.org.au/post/if-trump-comes-back-do-we-want-him-as-an-ally/

We may not take everything on board that the think tank
tells us or suggests. But it certainly provides us with food
for thought. And in my case - distinct unease. I find what
Trump says and does very unsettling.
