Former US President Richard Nixon said:
"People have got to know whether or not their president is a crook." Former US President Donald Trump posted: "A president of the US must have full immunity, without which it would be impossible for him/her to properly function." Nixon acknowledged the fundamental importance of accountability in a democracy. After the Watergate scandal Nixon resigned. Trump has been found guilty of fraud. He is running for a second term as US President. Will he be re-elected? And if he is - what will that do for America's image in the world? Posted by Foxy, Friday, 7 June 2024 9:37:26 PM

"Will he be re-elected? "
No. Even though he's leading in the polls, he's not far enough ahead to overcome the electoral fraud that the Democrats will perpetrate. He'll win the votes and lose the count. Just like 2020. "And if he is - what will that do for America's image in the world?" It will be enhanced, showing that the American people remain free and understand the anti-democratic practices of the ruling elite for what they are. That'll go over Foxy's head. BTW the issue of immunity is totally separate to the issue of the New York show trial. That'll go over Foxy's head. Trump isn't claiming immunity for that case. Still, obviously Foxy is opposed to immunity for presidents, so she'd be totally in agreement with prosecution for the Obamessiah for the extra-judicial murder of Americans while president and the prosecution of Biden for dereliction of duty as regards Kabul, both of which are covered by the immunity provisions for presidents. That'll go over Foxy's head. Posted by mhaze, Saturday, 8 June 2024 8:11:05 AM

mhaze,
Most of what you post does not go right over Foxy's head. It goes like water - down Foxy's back. There's a difference. Posted by Foxy, Saturday, 8 June 2024 9:41:20 AM

Time magazine published the results from 2 interviews with
Trump and with conversations with more than a dozen of his closest advisers and confidents on what Trump would do if elected as President for a second term. Here's what emerged: 1) Trump would carry out a deportation operation designed to remove more than 11 million people from the country. 2) Trump said he would be willing to build migrant detention camps and deploy US military, both at the border and inland. 3) He would let red states monitor women's pregnancies and prosecute those who violate abortion bans. 4) Trump would at his personal discretion, with-hold funds appropriated by Congress, according to top advisers. 5) Trump would be willing to fire a US Attorney who did not carry out his order to prosecute someone. Breaking with a tradition of independent law enforcement that dates from America's founding. 6) Trump is weighing pardons for every one of his supporters accused of attacking the US Capitol on June 6th 2021. More than 800 of whom have pleaded guilty or been convicted by a jury. 7) Trump might not come to the aid of an attacked ally in Europe or Asia if he felt that country wasn't paying enough for its own defense. 8) Trump would gut the US Civil Service, deploy the National Guard to American cities as he sees fit. Close the White House Pandemic Preparedness Office, and staff his administration only with followers who backed his false assertion that the 2020 election was stolen. Trump felt that in his last term he was "too nice." This time he feels more confident and stronger. he is not afraid to say - "You're fired." http://time.com/6972021/donald-trump-2024-election-interview/ Posted by Foxy, Saturday, 8 June 2024 10:51:22 AM

"It goes like water - down Foxy's back."
Yes I get it. If you don't understand it, ignore it. Not the path to the truth but the path Foxy's followed for a very long time. "what Trump would do if elected as President for a second term." Foxy, I've already said I support him. You don't need to provide additional reasons. Indeed they're not really additional reasons. Most of the things you list are the reasons a majority of US citizens are supporting him. "Breaking with a tradition of independent law enforcement that dates from America's founding." If you think that what's been going on in the Obama and Biden administrations are examples of an independent judiciary, then you're even more clueless than I thought... or thought possible.
