mhaze,

You and I will never agree on so many things.
But why do you feel it necessary to continue
your personal attacks on me? Are you that
insecure. Stick to your opinions by all
means. But, lose the attacks. It's
not a good look. It's a total turn-off.

Didn't your parents tell you that if you
have to stoop to personal attacks - it's
because you've run out of arguments.

Take a deep breath, and try again.

As for Trump? The man can't help himself.
And he may learn that his supporters can't
help him either. Justice just may remove
the blind-fold from the eyes of a larger portion
of Americans. Who just may decide - not on my turf -
you don't.

We can only hope.

What personal attacks?

Saying things go over your head or that you're clueless on so many issues, isn't a personal attack. Its an astute observtion.

mhaze,

Your observations are not astute.

They are ill-informed.

I can only show you facts.

I can't make you appreciate them.

mhaze,

Lets look at the facts of you as an "astute observer."

You support for US president a man who denies the
results of the 2020 election. Who egged on an
insurrection in January 6th. A man who is unstable
and unpredictable, and yet you think nothing of placing
the US presidency in his hands a second time.

Even the fact that the man's been found civily liable
for sexual abuse and defamation and the fact that he
and his organization has been found guilty of business
and tax fraud in New York City apparently none of this
matters to you as an "astute observer."

What does all of this really say about you?

"To be physically astute and psychologically tended,
yet morally insulated and conceptually blind - is to
be crazy, not healthy."

(Michael Ventura).

I'm done.

Foxy,

"Who egged on an insurrection in January 6th. "

There was no insurrection and he didn't egg it on anyway.

"A man who is unstable and unpredictable,"

These are you opinions, not facts. Although I do have to admit that you don't really seem to know the difference.

"his organization has been found guilty of business and tax fraud in New York City apparently none of this matters to you as an "astute observer."

There's been no finding of tax fraud. Why do you feel the need to make this stuff up? As to the fraud case, as an astute observer I realise that this was a political show trial, not a trial based on actual facts. (NB: its been reported today that there may have been jury misconduct in the trial - not a surprise given that the show trial ensured that all the jurors were anti-Trump from the outset.)

You say its wrong to support someone who has been found guilty in court. Mandela was found guilty in court. Do you think those who supported him becoming president of South Africa were "crazy, not healthy.". Havel likewise. Were his supporters "crazy, not healthy."
Navalny?

Don't fret, I know that's too complex for you to answer.

mhaze,

When you familiarize yourself with the facts involved
only then - you shall be able to join in discussions
as an "astute observer."

I suggest you do that before you post.

Familiarize yourself with The House Jan 6th Committee's
Final Report on the insurrection that asserts Trump "Lit
the Fire."

Familiarize yourself with the fines of $1.6 million and
the conviction of 17 counts of tax fraud.

Familiarize yourself with the White South African government
that sentenced Mandela to life imprisonment in 1964 for
daring to oppose the apartheid regime in his country.

Familiarize yourself with Alexei Navalny and what happened
to him and why.

You may just begin to realize that comparisons of the US Justice
System with
either those of Apartheid South Africa or the Soviet Authority is absurd.

The United States Bill of Rights stands in protection of the
individual against the power of the state. The US Constitution
guarantees the individual certain fundamental rights and
protections. US laws are based on the principle that the law
serves the individual, not the state, and that state political
interests cannot outweigh the interests of the
individual, who must stand in law as a free man.

In contrast, V.I. Lenin made it clear that, in his political
philosophy, the law has but one primary goal: "A law is a
political measure. It is politics."

No Soviet authority or communist leader has abandoned this
concept.

Comparing Either South Africa or the Soviet justice system to
the US and the charges against Trump really questions your
self-proclaimed
"astute observer," status.

If you want to be taken seriously - familiarize yourself
with the facts first. Or subsequently you shall be ignored.
