From the post Foxy made.
"The Voice will be a new body [to executive Government] that represents Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from across Australia to provide their input into the decisions, policies and laws that are made by the government and parliament.

This is consistent with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which says Indigenous peoples have a RIGHT to participate in government decision-making in matters that affect their rights, through THEIR OWN POLITICAL INSTITUTIONS."
"The Voice has been proposed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the best solution to respond to their overwhelming feeling of disempowerment and structural disadvantage".

THE VOICE IS ABOUT EMPOWERING ABORIGINALS as stated in the post Foxy posted. It is about the struggle to overthrow Westminster Government laws and install socialist Eldership Rule. They want their own voice in government to make decisions on culture, laws, land, water, and beaches. If you are on aboriginal land, you will pay the rent.

Foxy is just a naive follower of ABC and Albanese and not a researcher on the truth of aboriginal voices. They believe the sovereignty of the Mother Earth is theirs and the British Crown stole it from them. There is no private property or crown land in their view, it all belongs to the tribes that identify with the areas. You are on aboriginal land and must be welcomed to country and abide by their culture and laws, giving respect to their worship of elders past and present [ancestral worship].

Well Mr Gilbert tells us why he thinks we need a Voice-like body but doesn't tell us why it needs to be enshrined in the constitution.

They never do explain that part. Never.

Enquiring minds ask why its never explained. Others just resolve to do as they're told.

They have been told they are downtrodden and must fight for their rights to own and make their own Government decisions. However, all those advocating the Voice are well established in Australian society both financially and socially. Being downtrodden is brainwashing by Elite who wants power.

according to them.

Fingers-crossed that the end result will unite our nation.

Minimal funds for Makarrata commission
The government has also committed $5.8 million to a Makarrata commission for a national truth telling process and pathway to treaty between Indigenous people and the government.

Some Indigenous leaders are concerned about the disparity between funding for the Voice and funding for the truth and treaty process.

Tasmanian Land Council chair and palawa man Michael Mansell says it's an indication of where the government priorities lie.

"Now that he's committed $75 million to the voice and talking about a referendum and only $5 million to the treaty, that raises even more doubt about his commitment to treaty and truth telling," he said.

"If he was serious about treaty, he'd be talking to Aboriginal people now.

"I wrote to the Prime Minister, and Pat Dodson, and Minister Linda Burney two months ago, and asked 'how do Aboriginal people become engaged with the federal government about progressing a treaty or a Makarrata?'

"I've never even received an acknowledgement of the letter, let alone a response."

Mr Mansell said he wanted the government to ensure that people who disagreed on the Voice weren't locked out of the Makarrata process.

"If the federal government insisted that the people outside the group who are running the Voice model are the ones who should be in control of the development of a treaty, we would have a change to grab a guernsey," he said.

"I do suspect it will be the same people who will control the treaty and truth telling in the same manner as they'd control the debate about the voice."
