You belong to the 5 to 10% of the population.
You're outnumbered by the 70 to 80%.

We would need to see the actual Newspoll question ( bearing in mind also the total dog's breakfast Newspoll made of the last election prediction), as well as asking ourselves, if the ABC is so popular, why are so few people watching/listening to the ABC? Certainly, the last couple of election results have not shown that the electorate trusted the ABC's anti-Coalition propaganda.

I would have thought that, after the disastrously wrong predictions by Newspoll (Shorten was a cert for PM), nobody would be taking much notice of Newspoll. Particularly as the Coalition leader was a typical example of a person promoted to one level above his competence.

As far as news TV goes, Channel 7 is on top.

It is quite remarkable how the Murdoch press has been able to so insidiously dictate the opinion of the compliant. They would love to see the ABC shut down and have their useful idiots attacking Aunty with gay abandon.

simplest strive for accuracy, fairness, and impartiality.

As Mark Scott , previous Director, stated:

"We don't ask questions about our journalists voting
patterns and where their ideologies are.
We don't do that kind of journalism. We look at the
journalism that they put out to air."

Most of the current affairs presenters and reporters
do a good job to maintain their impartiality. And much
more importantly a substantial majority of Australian
people agree.

The question remains: if this is so, why do so few people watch or listen to the ABC?
