Scott Morrison has responded to NZ's gratuitous advice by suggesting that they become more vigilant to the threat from Communist China. All democratic countries need to stand together against China. It is not unnoticed how little NZ spends on defence. With its anti-American attitude, and it seeming contempt for ANZUS, there probably wouldn't be a great rush to help them out in a crisis.

China is a monstrous evil danger to any human on earth (including its own population and in the countries it already conquered), regardless even whether the USA ever existed.

China is an imperialist power - it has never given up on expanding its empire, despite its feeble disguise as a 'socialist nation'.

Its invasion of Tibet in 1959 is one example, Its aggression against Vietnam, etc., are others. Its treatment of Uighurs, Mongols and other central Asians is stereotypically imperialist.
