ttbn,

Anyone can give a definition of an imaginary concept like a technocracy.

But you haven't been able to produce any evidence of technocracies having ever existed.

Maybe Disneyland is a technocracy? Is that what you are referring to.

O'connor spoke the truth - here are his words:

"If [Australia] were to follow us and show respect, I guess a little more diplomacy from time to time and be cautious with wording, they too could hopefully be in a similar situation [with China],"

Hopefully for him, not for us. We have no wish to be in New-Zealand's situation, no wish to trade with, show respect or flatter the devil. We have just one relation with that evil regime of China - WAR!

Should we win, we get to keep our land and our freedom; and should we lose, we will gain heaven instead, so in any case we can only win while New-Zealand can only lose.

Yuyutsu,
I suggest you get yourself tested for lead poisoning!
War with China would threaten millions of innocent lives, but would accomplish nothing good that couldn't be far more easily accomplished via peaceful means.

New Zealand, with a population of only 5 million, almost no military or industry, is very vulnerable to China, and its government hates our government. We certainly don't need advice from them.

ttbn,

Please. Can you give me just ONE example of where a technocracy has existed?

That's all I'm asking for, just one example.

This belligerent, sabre-rattling, warmongering by the extreme right in Australia towards China is counter productive. Trade being the chosen weapon of war, blind Australia with its trade war pop gun, opposes the "enemy", China who have a trade war bazooka. A one sided battle if ever there was one. The feeble attempt by the ScumO' glove puppet Simon Birmingham to give the Chinese a real "talking to", failed as China wouldn't take poor Simons repeated calls.

New Zealand, under successive governments, Labour and National, have taken a more independent line with the United States and not wanting to be seen as Australia is, a flunky, ever at the ready to do the bidding of Uncle Sam.
