Hi Foxy

1. Thanks for http://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-09-19/assange-lawyer-claims-trump-offered-us-pardon/12680462 Trump's actions are predictable.

Since 2016 Russian intelligence (specifically the sigint/cyber hacking arm of Russian Military Intelligence (GRU)) passed Democrat database secrets to Wikileaks.

Wikileaks then passed much to mainstream news outlets (NYT, WashPost, Guardian etc) in time to blacken Hillary before the 2016 election.

"Trump could pardon Assange at any time.

A federal pardon in the United States is the action of the President of the United States that completely sets aside the punishment for a federal crime. [1]

A federal pardon can be issued prior to the start of a legal case or inquiry, prior to any indictments being issued, for unspecified offenses, and prior to or after a conviction for a federal crime. [2]

Federal pardons issued by the president apply only to federal law; they do not apply to civil, state, or local offenses. [3]

Dear Pete,

I don't get why Assange is still in a British jail
fighting extradition to the US.

It's not clear to me.

Hi Foxy,

Maybe because he could face the death penalty in the US for the offences that they claim he has committed.

Or, on the other hand, Trumpf could pardon him on the condition that he keeps his mouth shut about anything else Wikileaks has got on Trumpf. The scales of justice can be weighted ever so slightly ....

I'm sure that the British would never let him be extradited to the US until they got an assurance that the death penalty was off the table.

Of course, the offer of a pardon before Nov 3 might help to give them that assurance.

The story in the Guardian:
http://www.theguardian.com/media/2020/feb/19/donald-trump-offered-julian-assange-pardon-russia-hack-wikileaks

When you read down the page there is no concluding evidence Trump offered Assange pardon for dirt on the DNC. The Media has fed off each other and embellished the story.

with all Trumps tremendous achievements and egg splashed over the face of those suffering tds they have to keep inventing fantasy in hide their shameless lies. Day by day he shows how incompetent and corrupt his predecessors were/are. Hopefully four more years to drain the swamp although I think the democrats show he probably needs another 400 years.

Hi Runner,

Yes, 200,000 deaths is indeed a tremendous achievement. No other US president has achieved such distinction as to contribute to the unnecessary deaths of so many. 200,000 so far.

Only 46 days to go (our time). What larks can the Turd-Bucket-in-Chief come up with in that time ? Ban all voting after October 3 ? Send in armed thugs - 'patriots' - to drive intending voters home ? Smash up the odd voting machine ? Set fire to half of the polli9ng stations ? Enforce limited hours on voting, say 2 am until 5 am on Nov 3 ?

Yes, but he's YOUR Turd-Bucket :)

46 days :)
