Well start at the beginning Mr O.

1. Invasion
2. Genocide
3. Land theft

4. State guvments -> Developers

Trace the entire length of the business model all the way to the parasitic privatisation of everything and the rules that favor business over people.

5. Stupid, ignorant people who want change but continue to vote for the mainstream scum of australian politics who will never give you what you want. The rules of the game need to be changed. I personally favor a further hybridisation of the economy. Some parts nationalised, some parts socialised, some parts pure free market. Universal medical and legal ..

rEPRUSu,
Are you indigenous ? If not, what are you doing here & if you are when will we have paid enough compensation ?
Are you living a traditional life style or are you hypocritical enough to accept compensation & all associated benefits yet still claim dispossession ?
The time has come to either stop accepting benefits & compensation or get back to your traditional existence. You have more than enough land to do so.

Actually, by way of ethnicity I am half Breton and half english, though a genetic test would no doubt be more revealing.

But that does not mean I cannot advocate for justice when I see injustice.

It does not mean that I do not have a Heart for them on account of different ethnicity.

The original people do not want the scraps from your table mate, so without respect I suggest you stick them up your proverbial.

What they want, and what they are entitled to in my view is the return of their Sovereignty. In fact, right across the globe it is well past time that the Western nations (primarily) returned their property and the Sovereignty of those they brutalised. There are no statutes of limitations upon the horrific crimes that they have suffered.

Once done, Australia will look more like Europe.

The original people will once again own their land and sea in entirety and I expect whilst aspects of traditional life may be a choice for some, others will roll on with mining etc2 and become complete societies in their own right, much as their Indonesian forebears did once the dutch pigs were removed

(and what a shame the nazis didn't #@%^ them up more. And yes, in Indonesia you can still purchase nazi paraphernalia. And that's not to say that the Indos approve of the nazis per se, but rather it is a case of "the enemy of my enemy is my FRIEND.")

And yours is a typical racist white trash attitude. "Go back to your traditional life then."

It may come as a surprise to you, but the Original people have evolved as do all people, with the exception of some scum whose attitudes lie buried deep in an evil past. And just because you all want to pretend how nice and pc you are now, does not account for what has already occured. At the very least, a vote for the mainstream is a vote to maintain the dispossession.

The original people do not want the scraps from your table mate,
rEPRUSu,
Where did I suggest that ?

What they want, and what they are entitled to in my view is the return of their Sovereignty.
Where did I suggest they're not entitled ?

Being born to a people who were dispossessed two Centuries ago is not an automatic entitlement to do nothing to better your life. Just tearing at healed wounds is both unfruitful & lacking initiative.

There is no area on this Planet that hasn't been taken over by newcomers or invaders.
Unless you're deeply religious you'd accept that as evolution.

There are many indigenous who'd disagree with you because I have discussed this with many. I & they acknowledge the dispossession but what you're doing is stirring unnecessary disharmony & by doing so you're sabotaging any hope of a positive outcome.
By you'r own admission you're not indigenous either so, why not vacate this land if you don't believe it is right for an outsider to occupy it ? Or, at the least put your money where your mouth is & help the indigenous to achieve the ability to gain sovereignity. I did so, why not you too ? You'll find that you can only do so much & if a certain number of indigenous are not inclined to put in an effort other than calling out entitlement !
I found that those real indigenous I worked with & discussed this with are actually not at all in favour of southern do-gooders who don't actually have a clue, perpetually interfering in their lives.
There are many indigenous who WANT to build & own their own homes but mainly Labor orientated Govts don't allow them to do so.
Wayne Goss came to power & "WHAM" the flood gates opened & the manipulators spread like a plague & disrupted the then slow but sure progress with lightning fast disruption & regress. They bought the community leaders & the rest is history !
