Poor old ttbn, he doesn't even know what side the driver sits in a truck.
"Now he's a drunk: fighting fires and driving a fire truck drunk." PAUL PARKER was the passenger. The nurse will be along with you medication shortly ttbn.

How about ScumO'! The Yankee multi national General Motors gave the ScumO' government 15 minutes notice they were pulling the plug on their Australian Holden operation. That after these fools had poured hundred of millions of dollars into Detroit to prop up the business in Aussie. Hows that for gratitude?

Poor old Shadow, doesn't know anythings about politics or the law, what does he know? The nurse will be along with you medication shortly Shadow Minister.

Dear Shadow Minister,

You write;

"So it would appear that the foul mouthed fireman was not fired nor was there any effort to have him fired and the whole episode was complete BS fabricated by the left whingers as a beat up on Morrison. Paul and SR were two of the suckers to swallow the story hook, line and stinker."

What?

I never mentioned a word about him being sacked nor did the original article I posted.

Have you just posted an assertion so you could knock it down? I think that is exactly what you have done.

Bit pathetic don't you think?

Dear mhaze,

What a petulant little post from you. You might well be getting a bit of a lather up trying to polish the turd which is Scomo's reputation at the moment by no need to inflict it on the rest of us.

SR

"You might well be getting a bit of a lather up trying to polish the turd which is Scomo's reputation ...."

So even after saying I had no particular truck with Morrison and didn't even vote for him last time out, SR decides I'm totally in Morrison's thrall. Facts seem quite alien to poor old SR, n'est pas?

But in SR-land there's no grey areas. Its either totally agree with SR's moronosity or total disagree. Its not possible to have no feelings one way or t'other or to just think its all a storm in a teacup. Which of course it is.

"Show me the quote and the context and I'll decide if I thought it was fair comment" asks mhaze.

Silence came the stern reply. Silence from SR = wrong and anxious to no longer talk about it.

Hey ttbn,
"The misuse of the word hero is indicative of our lowering standards and manipulation of language to suit the mood. And it's an insult to the very, very few real heroes who have ever lived."

Yeah alright, I'll concede on that point.
The word 'hero' does get thrown around a lot, sometimes attributed when it shouldn't be.
A lot of people labelled 'heros' will say they we're just doing what they were supposed to do in said situation.
That they didn't do anything extraordinary, just did 'what anyone would've done' if the were in that situation.
- Though these days many wouldn't do what they did.

You could play it down, and say Paul Parker was just the local drunk who wanted to save his pub from burning down.
How true that is, I don't know.

If he helped save the town though, then he is a hero, if only to the people who live there.
Some locals might not like the way he's brought attention to the town however.

I didn't help put out any of the fires, so I'm grateful for those who put themselves in harms way to do so.
It was obviously a big job.

AC,

I just call it the way I see it. I am not out to pursuade anyone.

It's now said that not only was this extremely unpleasant person not 'sacked', but the object of his abuse, Scott Morrison, didn't want any action taken against him. Let's see how much recognition of the PM's very generous attitude will come from the hate-filled Left.

seems like Steelie and Paul's bad mouth firey is a huge Pauline Hanson fan. Obviously to thick hides to see the irony of it. So so funny. You would think they would of learnt from their democrat mates.
