"WELL TRUE TO FORM THIS IS A HATE PAGE! No a discussion!"

Dear mhaze,

So this “people who hated Morrison before the election, still hate him.” or this “People who fell for the anti-Lib media hype before the election, still fall for it.” or this “People who can't come to terms with the reality of the last election, entertain fantasies about the outcome of the next election.” is a calm evaluation of the facts?

Not in my book old chap, nor I wager in anyone else's.

So did you agree with Morrison when he claimed those who had up to that point spent three long hard weeks fighting the fires wanted to be there?

Hey ttbn,
Thanks for sharing this.

"This morning: it is reported that the creep who abused Morrison on TV then fell out of his fire truck has been kicked out of the service for using foul language."

What a EFFing joke?
Don't they know what EFFing country this is?

I told you ScoMo couldn't say squat to this.
It's bad publicity all the way on this, like 'cost him an election' type of publicity.

But you see what they do?
They wait until the media cycle on the story dies.
- And then they punish the bloke quiety for daring to tell the truth.
It's a message to others, to set an example to NOT speak out without fear of reprisals.

It's exactly what they're doing with Assange.
- This is how the world really works. -

The guys a hero in my book.
He helped save the town from destruction.
He has the right to say whatever the hell he wants.
This is only because what he said made ScoMo look bad.
If it was good publicity they wouldn't be acting the same way.

I'm absolutely certain there's been plenty of colourful language from fireys over the last few months.

"... nor I wager in anyone else's."

Its quite revealing how you're always anxious to assert that everyone agrees with you. Desperate to be in the majority.

".... is a calm evaluation of the facts?"

Yep. Especially when compared to your desperation to equate a few blokes in a pub with the electorate at large.

"So did you agree with Morrison when he claimed ...."

I didn't really follow the media hysteria over Morrison's failure to put out the fires. Show me the quote and the context and I'll decide if I thought it was fair comment.

AC,

I'm afraid I have to disagree: the bloke is an utterly uncouth moron, as the leadership of his organisation obviously thinks too. He has form. He has a very nasty face, and he has made an absolute dick of himself nationally.

I'm no prude; cussing and swearing is one of my weaknesses. But it's never at anyone or in public. This bloke is an uneducated moron, as are the boozers who offered him free frog for his appalling conduct. He is no hero. To call him one is an insult to those who are.

ttbn quote "From what I can make up the fireman in question was an obnoxious prick" That's more like it.

It was the hard right mob who first used the "pub test", now they hate it being thrown back at them.
