Has been – Maggie Thatcher, you have to be joking.
Billy Bragg sums it up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlkXQm7tSCY In our case little John has now been by the Rabbott and his mob. Posted by Producer, Friday, 11 April 2014 1:41:24 PM

Would you suggest Producer, that any of that useless bunch I listed earlier, would be good enough to lick Maggie's shoes?
If so, what a twisted & disorganized mind you must have. Posted by Hasbeen, Friday, 11 April 2014 4:27:48 PM

Let’s put it this way, if Julie Bishop was leader of the coalition she would suffer the same fate as those on your list. The head reflects the body. Crackcup – I see the media is now reporting openly that they believe Joe is softening up the oldies for harsher means test and higher retirement age. I understand there are no poor people involved in setting the pension. I believe it would only be right and proper not to have well off individuals set politicians salaries. I for one would nominate some pensioners. Posted by Producer, Friday, 11 April 2014 8:36:20 PM

Hasbeen,
The only list that Maggie Thatcher would appear on is the all time 'Political Wombles' list along with a few other notables, including her one true love in life, Ronnie Reagan, George W Bush and our very own Little Johnny Howard, they would all make such a list, easy! The Mad Monk is doing his utmost to get on, but there are some real corkers in front of him at the moment, but given time The Abbott should be right up there some day. I wonder what type of failed brain surgery, [actually did they find one], is required to make people think like Producer.
No need to wonder what they did with Paul1405. If they did actually find one, they must have removed it to a bottle of formalin. Posted by Hasbeen, Friday, 11 April 2014 11:52:11 PM

Incidentally, did you read that list. Every one of them a total catastrophe in their own right.
But no, I don't think much of most female management, at least in the public sector. It is since we got too much female management into education that our system has collapsed.
It has been since area directorships in the health system went to women, that it has started to fail.
All through the bureaucracy, since Labors fool affirmative action policy, has become even less competent. I will admit that could be merely coincidental with all Labor favorites moving in. Possible, but not probable.
I have had a bit too much contact with the female clowns we got in the bureaucracy under Beattie & Bligh to actually believe that.
It is a different exercise in the private sector, where women have to actually earn promotion. There the results are often brilliant.
