All I have ever suggested is we should have the right to be represented by those we choose. This is not the case in this country.
I also reckon you have a big issue with Sheila’s running things. I have yet to find a positive comment about a female leader from you.
With regards to health care: Sure there should be a social contract that the receiver of a public health care should acknowledge. I for one would forego a cruise or cash in the bank if it meant someone through no fault of their own needed care. The problem with our health system is not so much the patients but the disproportionate cost of the system and the professions and services that have their nose in the health trough.
We need more doctors and nurses working less hours taking a more proportional share of the productive wealth. Medical insurance and unnecessary administration add to the cost. Drugs and equipment are far too expensive. I could go on but I think you get my point.
