I'm not all that savvy on settings, etc...but I just had a go with "Poirot" and spell-check underlined it in red. When I split the word apart as in "Poi" and "rot" it didn't underline it....although I'm not sure how the word "Poi" gets through?

...okay, I just googled an online dictionary and apparently "poi" is a Hawaiian food made from the tuber of the taro, pounded into a paste and fermented.

Got rid of Internet ex, running fire fox, spell check is giving trouble but getting there.
Unfortunately any Friday, prayer day, could see the thread charge past that.
Some are in to 3.000 posts, very crude mostly, no way to sell a thought.
I find our efforts not worth concern compared to what I saw elsware.

Yeah, it's a lot easier just to pretend to sit on the fence and slag one side, but never the other.

I merely pointed out that just because a society aspires to the values contained therein, it doesn't preclude their using their collected heft to dominate other peoples and subjugate them.

Because they're human, and humans are bickering, tribal and territorial - not to mention greedy and liable to apply indiscriminate values as they go along, depending on who they're dealing with.

I've just googled the appropriate words and noticed that all the pages listed came up written exactly like yours - shouting in upper case - about the issue...as if trying to whip up a bit of hysteria.

Nevertheless, not a good look if it's true.

I'm wondering if you can provide some proof or validation for this claim, apart from something your mate sent you. At the moment it appears as typical facebook and social media fodder.
