im going to sit on the fence just loving by saying as it is without deciding it an excuse to hate...i know its impossable to rationalise hate...and hate is maybe too strong a word

we can dispise others being lessor than we think they are capable...but this minour version of hate isnt enough excuse to kill others...were actuall hearing of cold blooded insanity [murder] everyday...but when its done FOR us thats seemingly ok

i recall macnamara had a theory that enough muder would eventually make us safe...or is it once the majic number is achieved..then those who love to murder wil say yes thats enough...not likely

how can anyone condone anyone dying for us[let alone claiming jesus died for our sins]..those who love to sin dont care who dies[as long as its not them]...im reminded that polite killing seemingly is ok

[i didnt hear many complaints when that sadman insane dopple ganger for sadam hussain died...via the hang mans noose...also seeing rhyme and reason for banning pot..that was arround the same time polpot was doing his genociding thing..

or letting smokers die via medical malfeasance..because they did it too them selves...yet a completly different perspective if its liver replacement from drunks killing their own livers with booze[over half are directly from booze

but i guess if its for a good reason ...god wont mind right

*dare to ask...why do we love..to hate others?
or is it just me?*

OUG, you need to separate hate from indifference.

As others have explained, yes we are tribal by nature.

If a member of your family dies, its a big deal. Yet if
you read in the paper that 5000 Chinese died in an earthquake,
most people don't give it a second thought, unless their family
ties extend there. That's human nature for you.

Hate is really a wasted emotion, not that far from love.
Think of the couple who one day hate each other enough to
call for a divorce, next thing they make up again.

Some people do in fact hate those who disagree with them,
but I can't really see the point. I might quite like a person,
yet still agree to disagree on some issues. That's life,
we don't all share the same opinions.

So hate in fact is more of a problem for the emotionally engulfed,
who struggle to separate emotion from reason and have trouble
thinking about what they feel and why.

Sounds like they need a course in good old emotional intelligence.

Master, if you were a churchgoer instead of on the outside looking in as a judgmental critic, you would know what you are saying is utter and complete twaddle.

One of the central tenets of Christendom is forgiveness, and non judgmentalism.

Misrepresentations like you love to put out are an example of the sort of hate, OUG is talking about. You have cherry picked a passage to illustrate a point, so I forgive you. Some people cannot help themselves.

Yabby beat me to it…..

I am indifferent to many. I do not like to see suffering but for most everyday folk, regardless of their values and beliefs, I am simply indifferent because whatever they do makes no different to me or what I do.

Example I do not hate terrorists.. that does not mean I would not see them dead but dead because they threaten my life(style) not simply because they are terrorists… if terrorists relinquished their terrorist ways and found legal means to pursue their causes there would be no reason for anyone else to hate them.

I do hate one ex-wife who stole part of my life (don’t care about the money.. I recouped that but the time I can never get back).. the other ex-wife I do not hate… although I do not love her any longer…

like Yabby suggested .. Indifference is not hate.

Finally, thinking someone is loathsome or contemptible (a few of those here, no names, no pack-drill) is not “hate” either.

this topic arose from feelings of revulsion...at listening to yesterdays news...you know news..[if it bleeds it leads]...but why focus on the bleeding matra..that numbs the news readers..reading out the[todays]..total of the latest bleeding stories...only jokingly called news..[to the excusion of that one puff/fluff piece..we hear as the final filler news...at the end..when the news that bleeds was short its quota for today

even the sports..usually shows only some hard tackle/or foul..in the vision behind the drone of sport scores...or the latest numbnut sportperson expoloiting their demigod powers..by abusing some idolatory fan or hypnotised female whoreshipper..seeking an autograoph or sperm sample...or some[the latest]spoting hero deficating in the hotel or his place of buisness

but the words thast inspired the title keep flooding in...obscuring the real quetion...why do we love...why are we so chasing those endorphines...so despirite for that endorphine high..that even extreme hate brings that high...

or is it a form of religious extracy replacement placebo affect..for those dead to love...or thinking them selves beyond such foolish dependances..such as love..yet subliminally seeking that love high..[even if only via loving hate..[or hating with a passion]

god loves our passions...thats why he has the place of darkness..for those with the extreem passions...that one simply cant talk of in polite circles..but via conditioning in the media we get numbed top even the most vile murder...

i know once even the mere sight of blood sent shivers into my phychi...now the blood can flow freely and leave me undisturbed eating my dinner...but what of that innocence lost..or it it lost empathy..or even eventually...

i wish i had the words to say it properly
