It is simple enough; take them at their word.
The list already exists; first the Jews, then the Christians.

"It is simple enough; take them at their word.

Only if you are simple-minded.
The west has spent the last 20 years bombing them en mass FOR ISRAEL
And they see us being a part of the cause, and why wouldn't they when the whole entire U.S. congress is owned by the Israel lobby, and every single western nation has also been subverted into aligning with Israel, (even if it's only one side of politics, but always both are too petrified to be labelled anti-Semitic.

So of course they see us, and our colonialism, as the ones who screwed THEM.

If you said it was in Australia's long term interests to EXPORT Islam and all it's followers from Australia entirely tomorrow, I'd be willing to argue the merits of that, but what you don't see is that we are IMPORTING the hate, fostering the hate, and importing the conflict and division by standing in defense of the perpetrators.

Just keep fanning the hate with atrocities against the Palestinians.
It's a sure recipe for success.

Dear Mhaze,

«What is this? A competition between AC and Yuyutsu to see who can be the most delusional.»

Well I did not comment on this thread, nor felt that I need to, but you seem to be forcing me:

We shall wait and see then - only time will judge:

On the one hand, Netanyahu destroys Israel's democracy, brick by brick and even Israel's president, an official figurehead which is supposed to remain above politics, is worried about it: http://www.jpost.com/israel-news/politics-and-diplomacy/article-832554
Is he delusional too?

And on the other hand, the new rebel coalition that just toppled the murderous Syrian dictator offers an olive branch, wanting peace between Israel and a democratic new Syria: http://www.timesofisrael.com/syrian-rebel-commander-urges-israel-to-support-uprising-strike-iran-backed-forces

Why can there be only one democracy in the Middle-East at any given moment - now Israel is handing over the torch to Syria!

... and instead of congratulating, welcoming and befriending the victorious Syrian freedom fighters, for the last few days Netanyahu is bombing Syria and took over some extra Syrian territory in the Golan Heights. The one thing dictators are most afraid of, is peace!

Yes Yuyutsu, that's what I was referring to - your claim that Syria was on the brink of becoming a democracy. Bonkers!

That the rebels want to ally with Israel is a given. They, the rebels and Israel, have the same enemies -Iran and Hezbullah. So they are natural allies, at least for the moment.

"for the last few days Netanyahu is bombing Syria"

Israel has been attacking the remnants of Hezbullah in Syria which is to the benefit of the rebels. And they've been bombing the Syrian chemical warfare factories which is to the benefit of the whole region. There's zero evidence that they've been attacking the rebel forces themselves.

Dear Mhaze,

I never claimed that Israel bombed the rebel forces,
but it treats them as enemies by depriving them of heavy and sophisticated weapons
and creating a great physical barrier in the Golan Heights, a barrier Israel never considered necessary when Assad was there.

Yes, Israel bombed the remnants of Hezbullah as they were retreating into Lebanon. While that technically happened in Syria, not in Lebanon but just across the border from Lebanon and well north of the Litany river (south of which hezbollah are not supposed to enter), does it indicate any intention to abide by the recent cease-fire agreement which is supposedly in place?

Yes indeed, Israel bombed Syria's chemical-weapon facilities that go against international treaties: well and good, but it bombed much more than that, conventional weapon facilities as well.

While the rebels presently have lots of goodwill, Netanyahu has not.
