The pro-Palestinian/Hamas/Hezbollah have now practising cultural misappropriation, waving Ned Kelly. I suppose they are running out of their own criminals with Israel knocking them off.

And one activist has held up a sign with “Thanks to NSW Police for making us f-ing relevant” on it. He obviously has heard about the same police being Islamophobic because their colours are the same as the Israeli flag. He'll be miffed when he finds out.

While an investigation into bias in scholarly opinion would do well to query the motivation to venture an opinion in the first place, I think you will find that there is, nevertheless, a quasi-consensus among historians, political scientists and other reputable academics and commentators, including the UNRWA, on the beginning of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict as indicated above.
