The pro-Palestinian/Hamas/Hezbollah have now practising cultural misappropriation, waving Ned Kelly. I suppose they are running out of their own criminals with Israel knocking them off.
And one activist has held up a sign with “Thanks to NSW Police for making us f-ing relevant” on it. He obviously has heard about the same police being Islamophobic because their colours are the same as the Israeli flag. He'll be miffed when he finds out. All-mouth-and-trousers Premier Minns says this all “grossly offensive”, but he hasn't ordered police to do visa checks and make arrests. But, apparently the Victorian wallopers are looking carefully at 9 Hezbollah aficionados. A whole 9! Wow! Because of the failure of our political leaders and our police forces, Hezbollah are now associating Australia with the ‘from the river to the sea’ chant. We are being incorporated into terrorist slogans and our nation is being used as fodder for propaganda. We are becoming untouchables. Posted by ttbn, Wednesday, 9 October 2024 2:38:19 PM

The Jewish Council of Australia condemns the attempts to
silence Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah and have her removed as a judge of Multicultural NSW Awards. Here are the many comments from members of the Jewish Council of Australia for Dr Randa: http://jewishcouncil.com.au/media/attempt-to-silence-dr-randa-abdel-fattah-as-judge-of-multicultural-nsw-award-condemned Posted by Foxy, Wednesday, 9 October 2024 3:17:22 PM

Dear mhaze, . 1. You ask : "The arrival of the first Zionist settlers in Palestine towards the end of the 19th century is widely seen as the start of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict." « Widely seen by who? » . While an investigation into bias in scholarly opinion would do well to query the motivation to venture an opinion in the first place, I think you will find that there is, nevertheless, a quasi-consensus among historians, political scientists and other reputable academics and commentators, including the UNRWA, on the beginning of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict as indicated above. . 2. You indicate : « Toward the end of the 19th century there was already a sizable Jewish presence in the Ottoman province of Palestine » . In 1880 there were nearly 500,000 Arabs and only about 25,000 Jews in Palestine. The First Aliyah or wave of immigration recognized by modern Zionism took place at the turn of the century : http://d3n8a8pro7vhmx.cloudfront.net/cjpme/pages/985/attachments/original/1424469763/181-En-Jewish_immigration-v5.pdf?1424469763 http://www.google.com/search? http://www.google.com/search?q=The+political+demography+of+Palestine%2FIsrael&rlz=1C1GCEA_enFR1119FR1119&oq=The+political+demography+of+Palestine%2FIsrael&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQRRg9MgYIAhBFGEAyBggDEEUYQDIGCAQQRRhAMgYIBRBFGD0yBggGEEUYPdIBCDIyMzdqMGo3qAIIsAIB&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 .
